ACORN Women s New Spa Thong Slipper Azalea Small / 5-6 B(M) US

I’d been looking for a pair of thong slippers for summer for a couple of years, and decided to give these a try. They are a bit pricey, but well worth it. When they arrived, it was immediately apparent to me that they would be perfect! The slipper is extremely comfortable, and the arch support that I must have for foot comfort makes these slippers wearable all day if necessary. When I ordered them, one reviewer suggested I downsize as they run a bit large and would stretch with use, and I’m glad I did. I typically wear a size 7 in the shoe or slipper, but I ordered these in a size 5/6 which was a good decision.

I have had many different pairs and styles of Acorn through the years and they have served my problem feet well. Recently, the Acorn Women's Spa Thong Slippers are not as well made. I compared them with my older pairs and they are not as thick and the arch is not as supportive. These new ones are loose and give no support like the old ones. The material has stretched on the new ones and is not secure between my toes and I am tripping and flopping all over the place. The old ones I bought in 2017 are still firm and not stretched. I bought a lot of them for the colors. So these last ones (Azalea color) are not well made, I bought them in 2022 and bought another one in 2023 thinking maybe it was just a glitch but unfortunately, it's as badly made as the 2022. I'm very discouraged since most other brands are even worse. It's a sign of the times and it seems many brand-name manufacturers are not concerned about quality as before. :(

This is the only thing I wear around the house and have been doing so for five years. The bottom makes it so I can still walk outside on the patio or get the mail. I usually get black ones but this time I opted for a fun pink. I wear the 5-6 size in these because they do stretch out a little and are made very large. I always wear a 7.5 shoe. At first, they feel tight but they stretch and are perfect after a few wears. I absolutely love these and hope they never stop making them!!

At first when I bought this and started wearing it it felt a bit too soft and over-cushioned. I thought I was not going to like it at all. I decided to wear a for a couple days and see if I changed my mind. A few days later, this slipper had molded to my foot and the fit was perfection. Now I practically live in these. If I could get away with wearing pink fluffy slippers to work I would!
