can you control how much megs each port get? i would like each port to get 5 megs..is that possible with this switch?

This switch lets you prioritize individual ports for QoS purposes, it however does not allow you to specify rate limits on each port. Take a look at our GS1920 series switches, they offer the ability to do per-port throughput limits.

Does the 5 port switch do port mirroring?

If you have firmware v2, you can mirror to any physical port you want. This is a real plus for this network diagnostic feature at this price point.

If you mean, can they be managed by a common interface like an enterprise stackable switch, no. They can be daisy-chained though.

Does Zyxel switch GS1200-5 support 802.3ad?

It supports VLANs and LAGs, but it's not clear if they are standards-based or if tagging is supported.
