Used for my teeth, worked very well, stronger than oral gel. Very cost effective compared to a small tube of orajel.

I use it for small cuts when I'm working around the garage or property. I disinfect with Bactine or some type of ointment. But if it's still bothering me I'll dump a little of this on it, just the straight powder. Just tiny cuts mind you. I just hold it there with the back of a spoon and flex the cut to work it in there, wipe off the rest with a paper towel. Then I can wash the dishes, for instance, without some annoying tiny cut bothering me for an hour or so. I'd keep this away from children. Used with a little common sense, it's great stuff.

This is a chemical compound Numbing Agent which works well and goes a long way for Toothaches or mouth sores. It dissolves well and activates in alcohol, but not water. Dissolve a half teaspoon in a 33 ounce Listerine and gargle. You may have to adjust the ratio. NEVER swallow it. DO NOT overuse it. METHOGLOBINEMIA. Could get a mild initial immune response. Do not use it with DMSO. -------------------------- It's important to be cautious when using benzocaine because of the risk of methemoglobinemia and other side effects, especially if you're considering mixing it into a mouth rinse like Listerine. Benzocaine is a local anesthetic, and using it inappropriately or in high concentrations can be dangerous. I strongly advise against making homemade medicated solutions without consulting a healthcare professional or pharmacist. The correct and safe concentration needs to be carefully determined by a professional, as overuse or incorrect dilution could lead to serious health problems.
