This is very well made. I looked at all of Amazon's offerings, including reviewed shortcomings. This one has a substantial zipper that works well and likely will stay that way. It claimed to have stiffeners, and it does seem more substantial and has some padding. Contrary to other reviews, it has no discernible odor.I gave it 5 stars for traveling on principle because of it's quality. However, I don't intend to travel or even put neckties into it. I have three plastic scanner inserts for various size film that are a little over 12 inches long and couldn't find a flat container of any kind suitable for storing them. This case is a little longer than needed but works nicely to hold three of them. See provided photo.

Very nice travel case that can handle more than one tie comfortably. Fits nicely in my suitcase.

A solid product so far. Holds my glengarry, band tie, and flashes.

I like that this tie holder seems sturdy and will definitely protect your ties. The one problem is that it is a lot of extra weight. That is the major trade off.

This case is lightweight but seems durable. It can hold 4-6 ties easily.

Got this from my husband to pack his ties for a cruise, it worked great. No complaints. Held about six ties.

I bought this for my husband as a Father's Day gift. He loved it! It's nice that it's light weight so that it doesn't add anything to the weight of a suitcase. We liked the size too, his other travel container only fits one tie, which is much too limiting. It looks great, works well and is light weight, what more could anyone ask for?
