Q: Can I fry fish in it? Tilapia

Absolutely. I make Panko breaded haddock in the air fryer and my family agrees it is the best we've ever had. Moist on the inside, crispy on the outside, and no grease. Better than restaurant fish fry.

Q: Does this get really hot around the oven? I'm worried about my cabinets, especially since this be on the countertop with cabinets above it.

I've used mine for about 2 1/2 years 2 or 3 times a week. My backsplash is just 1980s style formica and I have it pushed back to the stops on the oven. I pull it out once a week to clean and have not seen any damage. I assume it can get hot just keep an eye on it until you figure it out. Also I never depend on the temp being what it's set on, most things I fry or bake are at 225 to 300 degrees and have developed quite good skills on this thing

There is a smaller one that is 15.5 wide, 12.5 deep and 11.5 high. For the one you are asking about the 16 is the width and the 15.5 is the depth. I found this info on the Cuisinart website.

The cuisinart is awesome works as good as a stand-alone air fryer plus you have a convection oven highly recommend it. Plus the toaster function works great this replaces 3 appliances.
