Is Jake fixed in sitting position or movable like he can stand?

It would of been nice for the Jake Sully and Banshee to stand up but no he's in a fixed sitting down position. I hope they fix this problem at McFarland toys .

Does the banshee come off of the stand for kids to play with or is it just for display?

Yes it comes off of display so your children can play with them. Just be careful cause the figures are small and can be lost during play time.

Im having trouble attaching the pole to the banshee. Is it a defect?

Hi! All you have to do is get a hair dryer, put it on the higher heat setting, aim it at the hole/socket on the dragon's belly for 20-30 seconds, then press the ball on the end of the pole into the socket. The heat softens the plastic which makes this super easy, it won't damage it, just be careful not to touch the hot areas and burn your fingers. Let it cool off for 5 minutes or so before posing, and it should stay on very well. This is a common way to assemble toys :).

Could this be played with as a toy? My son is looking to play with it as an action figure. Are there any points of articulation?

It’s definitely more a toy than collectible but the figures are much smaller than action figures. The avatar is probably only like 3” tall. It’s a cute set though.
