Good deal - happy with results
Decided to use 16 gauge for my rear speakers. One length is 45' (you want to upgrade to 14 gauge for over 50') so this was cutting it close, but I figured it would be okay. A good test of quality at that length.... and the surround sound is crystal clear coming through the Polk speakers at room shaking volume levels.Got the white to help hide it on the white walls. Works perfect by turning the one side with the black stripe (for negative) against the wall.I noticed some people complained about the spool - but I don't care about the spool. It gets thrown away. Who cares? I'm happy they found an inexpensive way to send me the wire.100% happy.

Good wire for price
I cant complain for price its not a high end wire by no means its copper clad aluminum,it claims to be the same signal transfer as copper.I have nice equipment but not high end enough to tell the difference.I have had a roll or 2 that seemed like it wasn't the true wire gauge it claimed to be by comparing to a premium roll I had....seemed a tad under sized to me.Its flexible, solders nicely. the sheath melts quickly.Don't have much more to add yet.I will buy more less some weird discovery is made.

Perfect Wire for Perfect Sound
Okay, so the 16 Gauge Speaker Wire Cable (100 feet) is basically the unsung hero of my home theater setup. I was able to connect all 5 speakers without breaking a sweat, and still had a little bit of wire left to spare—talk about value! The wire is super thick and feels solid, so I’m not worried about it fraying or losing signal. It was easy to work with, and I didn’t have to pull a MacGyver to make everything fit. If you’re setting up a sound system and don’t want to run out of wire halfway through, this is the one. It is a must for a home theater.

ordered Used Like New from Amazon Warehouse, wire is Great- 5 Star, BUT AW made a mistake- One star
Ordered 200' white 16 ga Used Like New from Amazon Warehouse. Usually AW items are the package is damaged or something too minor to notice. Often it is not even a returned item, just some minor damage while in stock. When the brown paper envelope arrived I knew something was wrong as it was way too light. Opened it and found the cardboard reel with no wrapping and wire looked good but only about half full. Spool marked 200'. Unrolled it on my deck and found only about 70'. Rolled it back up and called Amazon customer service. Returned it for a refund and reordered a "new" roll. Luckily I got 1 day delivery, so receiving the "light" roll only set me back two days on installation. Due to the nature of the system it took most of the 200' roll.I guess some "person" thought it was cute to use the wire they needed and return the leftover to Amazon as "not needed" or such, WITHOUT mentioning some was "missing". Amazon, the Seller, and me as the buyer take the hit because someone was too cheap and dishonest to pay for the wire they used. The product is great. The wire is very flexible and the strands are very fine as quality speaker wire should be. It is easy to strip. Beware of treating it like cheap lamp cord or solid wire as on good speaker wire you can cut strands off when stripping. I will not hesitate to use this in the future. 16 ga is a good wire for most quality home stereo or HT applications. The Monster, 12 and 14 ga wires are overkill for most home systems. Of course if you have long runs, high power amps, and low efficiency speakers larger gauge wire can help.
