Why did you pick this product vs others?:The gel feeling inside makes it feel like you are walking on a cloud. Bought them for my MIL but I tried them once she opened the box.

Wonderful, has the great support I need, Cushioning is very well made and I didn’t even have to put insoles in. size was accurate as always with this brand. I am thinking of buying another color I like these so well.

These shoes are comfortable for short periods, but they lack sufficient arch support for extended walking. If you're planning to be on your feet all day, you might want to consider other options.

So cushioned!
My husband and I have a tradition- when we go backpacking over the summer, we buy coordinating shoes. My shoes are pictured on the left. I replaced the laces with brighter neon yellow laces.I am no longer a runner, but these have a lot of cushion, even the cushion around the ankles and heels. Some runners like that, some don't. They're very well ventilated so nice for the summertime, maybe not so much in the winter. Like 90% of the Asics I get, they're perfect out of the box meaning no break in time. They look great on my big feet. I can't really comment on the durability, but looking at the treads right now, it doesn't look like they wear down very easily. However, I would say the toe box can get stained pretty easily. I've already popped 'em in the washer and not all of the marks on the tips of the toes came out.Still, I would order these again for sure.
