Very well bit and clear optics great addition to my photography equipment

We use various types of these Neewer lenses, and as with all Neewer products, this 65mm telephone lens is no exception and is of excellent quality. The 17mm threads are precise and install smoothly into the holder. The image quality is outstanding.

Just received this lens and don't know how to feel about it. I can't use it because I don't have the phone mount (I thought was in the order) you have to have that in order to mount it to the phone. I can see a vignetting around the corners a little bit. I bought this for my Galaxy S25 ultra for filming as a back up camera for weddings. I'm giving a 3 star for two reason. The vignetting around the edges when I hold the lens up to my phone camera. 2. The phone mount was supposed to be in the package.

I like this telephoto phone camera lens and it does a good job if you need to zoom in on a particular shot over and above what your standard phone camera is capable of. However, it does add some weight which makes it a little more difficult to keep a steady hand when trying to get that perfect shot. But perhaps more importantly you'll need to buy another accessory from Neewer to make it work...at least I did and I have an iPhone 12. It's Neewer part number PA007 and it's called a Universal Phone Clamp for 17mm Threaded Lens . It cost me $15 and I purchased it directly from Neewer. Once you receive the clamp the lens screws right into it and you can then clamp the lens over your phone lens to take your pictures. It would have been nice if the Seller had included this item with the lens which is why I removed a star. The lens itself is solid and well made, and definitely a quality product. The distortion is minimal around the edges of the lens but overall you can get really good pictures. This lens really does make a difference, but it is heavy and know you'll need to purchase the additional accessory I mentioned above.

Hace unos años, era impensable trabajar con lentes diseñados para teléfonos móviles. La calidad era terrible. Pero eso cambió. Gracias al sistema de fundas que se ha desarrollado, lentes como este de Neewer ofrecen una calidad más que adecuada para proyectos serios. Ojo: para usarlo necesitarás una funda o jaula compatible, ya que no viene incluida. Recomiendo usar el lente con la jaula Neewer Cage [2ª generación]. La construcción es muy buena. De hecho, ya sobrevivió a su primera caída (y espero que también sea la última). Para obtener la mejor calidad, debes acoplarlo al lente principal (1x). El zoom intermedio (2x), como el que ofrece mi iPhone 15 Pro Max, es solo un recorte digital; no se trata de un zoom óptico real. También puede usarse con la cámara gran angular (0.5x), aunque esta no alcanza la calidad del lente principal. Y ahí está justamente la ventaja de este tipo de lentes: ofrecen zoom óptico real, en este caso de 1.7x, lo que además se traduce en un desenfoque natural si te gusta la fotografía de retrato, muy distinto al efecto artificial que generan los teléfonos. Eso sí, en video hay que tener precaución al grabar escenas en movimiento. La estabilización se pierde significativamente. Si ese es tu caso, será necesario usar un gimbal para mantener la imagen estable, ya que no tendrás la misma estabilización que ofrecen los teléfonos de gama alta. Para finalizar, el único punto débil no está en el lente, sino en su estuche: el cierre es de baja calidad, y si el lente no está bien acomodado, el estuche se abre y daña fácilmente, como ya me sucedió. Pero no le voy a quitar una estrella por ese detalle; en últimas, es el lente lo que interesa. Aunque tendrán que mejorar el estuche en nuevas versiones o nuevos productos que saquen al mercado.

The lens it’s awesome! The construction quality, the weight, and the image quality that gives you it’s outstanding! Worth every penny, it’s a jump in image quality, putting far from “cellphone photo” and very close to “camera photo”

Very impressed with the build quality and overall feel and look. Was heavier than I expected. I was tossing up between the 60mm and the 85mm. Glad I went with this one. Landed in NZ in 2 days so super happy with that! Im yet to use it as I am waiting on a cage from Beastgrip. For now, I’ll give it 5⭐️. It comes with : • cool little case • a cleaning cloth • lens cover • end cap • metal lens hood Surprised by the end cap and cover. Usually, mobile lenses don’t have that. At least my old M-Series Moment lenses didn’t.. I’ve read reviews on here from buyers who know nothing about this space and made assumptions. Check the brands website and YouTube channel. Just like the title suggests, KNOW the product your buying. Will save you a headache. Most notably: • check your phones capability • check your cases capability • check your mount. This lens is a 17mm threaded mount. Make sure your backplate/adapter has the available mount. If not sure, check products website or manual for details. Great comms with the seller too! Love this 65mm lens! It’s great bang for your buck. First lens I’ve bought for my iPhone for filming short films and love being able to get a shallow depth of field (the “cinematic” setting on the iPhone does not always look good). I have Canon lenses for my DSLR camera and this lens is obviously not as good as them but they are 4x the price — This lens is great value for the price. One crucial thing to note is that you really need a specific phone case with a built-in 17mm threaded mount on the back, allowing you to screw on this lens, as it’s heavy and the Neewer universally clamp is not very good — it gets bumped easily and barely fits into some rigs as it sticks out so much. If the lens is not lined up properly you see a black vignette and focus is not sharp. I’d recommend this lens especially if you are shooting mid-close ups of people as you get that nice separation from the background (blurred background) and faces look nice and sharp!

重い。 いろいろなフィルターもつけられるようになるのでいいかと思ったが、スマホ本体よりも重いかもしれない。 手持ちで使うには非常に扱いづらく、何かしらのグリップ系アダプターなどと併用したほうがいい。 画質については悪くはないがいいのかどうかの判断はまだできない。 単純に65mmのフィルターを使いたいだけだったら、65mmのフィルターアダプター付きのケースを買うべき。
