I am currently comparing Dropps with AspenClean to find an eco-friendly dishwasher detergent that comes in an environmentally responsible package--not a plastic box, jug, or bag. I have been using Seventh Generation powder which comes in a box and was very happy. But recently I began to find our dishes were not clean and there was a whitish residue on dishes and glasses. So far, both Dropps and AspenClean work very well. Clean dishes, no residue, cardboard packaging for both. Plusses for Dropps are that they are significantly less expensive, and that their box is uncoated cardboard. Minuses are that Environmental Working Group rates their formula as a little less environmentally friendly than AspenClean (a grade of A rather than A+ if I recall) and that after I visited their website while investigating, I began getting "Welcome" emails from them even though I did not give them my emil address and I bought the product on Amazon. I will update this review if my opinion changes.

These work great. Less packing than most commercial dishwasher detergent.

I love this product because it does the job and doesn't leave nasty chemicals on our dishes and silverware. I've never noticed and residue left on dishes and enjoy the simplicity of the pods.
