Q: How long does it take to get cool/ chill a bottle of wine

That may never happen. This is ideal to keep a small drink cold, like a 12 ounce can or bottle. When I tried to chill a 16 ounce bottle of soda, it only chilled the bottom half.

You need to add water, and you can always wipe the can off. I had to return mine because it never worked can never got cold. Do some more research before you buy.

Check in with Amazon and report that you do not receive the power cord and they will take care of your problem.
