I thought the banana flavor was perfect, it made for a very moist cake and was quite tasty. Good value, great quality… Dolly’s banana gets a big “yes” from me.

I have bought this a few times. It's fresh and tastes really good. I add walnuts to them and a spoon full of Mayonnaise (yes Mayo), makes it really moist and fluffy. Try it, you'll see what I'm texting about.. lol ..yes, it's ok to bake the .ayo because it's made of egg and oil . Duh! Ha... expiration date is way ahead in time too.

Really enjoyed this cake mix it tasted great I got a 4inch cake and 16 cupcakes and 8 mini cupcakes from just this one box it had a great banana taste it was moist held up well meaning the cake didn’t dome in the oven it stayed pretty even. Dolly Parton cake mixes have been a nice change from all the other boxed cake mixes

Best Banana Pudding Mini cakes ever, they taste like from scratch

This is one of the only banana cake mixes I have seen on the market. This was ok. Although it was easy to make, the texture of the cake was very dense in my opinion. It was more like a bread than a cake and not very sweet. It also did not taste like real bananas. It has more of an artificial "Laffy Taffy Banana" taste to it. It was not as moist as I had expected it to be after being made with real butter. I think if you needed a cake that would stand up well for stacking multiple layers, this may be a good choice, but it is not my favorite. I think I will stick to adding real bananas to yellow cake batter.
