Exceptional Technology
I’ve been really impressed with every aspect of this TV. It is an exceptional piece of technology which has been a huge upgrade in my household. The TV arrived securely and very well packaged. It was easy to set up, even for an amateur like myself! There was a step by step guide which I followed on my phone using the QR code. The picture quality is crisp and vibrant, with bright colours that really pop. The smart features are fast and responsive. I particularly like that I can use my iPhone as the remote control. It also has this excellent feature where I can mirror my phone content on the screen. I think this is a great value TV which is also aesthetically pleasing. The narrow edges maximise its appeal which will add a touch of modern to any room. The sound is impressive and the built-in deep bass subwoofer adds that extra oomph, which decreases the need to add a soundbar. I highly recommend.

Incredible Value for Money - so Impressed
I have been looking at a new TV for a long time and searching reviews about screen brightness and clarity purchased this. Wow. For the price this is incredible value, the picture is amazing, setup about as difficult as putting on a hat, all my accounts setup in under 10 mins. The UI is clear and sensible. There may be better screens out there but I really don’t think I could even appreciate them so for the price I am very happy. A real bonus; the sound is excellent, great base and no distortion. Very highly recommended.

4.5 stars for TV and 3 stars for Amazon.
Amazon. Ordered on Friday, TV delivered free of charge on Sunday (with or without Prime – same delivery). Glad that the TV was well packed to survive all the cuts and bruises during the delivery. The Amazon delivery guys cared more how to leave as fast as possible rather than abt the TV. If you install it on a higher floor than your ground floor (like me) I advise you to measure carefully if it fits through the stairs and landing. I wanted to buy 98” or 100” (the latter was just £100 extra for the same Hisense model!), but after I practised with a cut-out cupboard I realised that it will not fit unless I cut the ceiling (which I was not allowed to). The biggest disappointment with Amazon however was that the price offered was the same as other retailers, but little did I know that one other retailer provides free 5 year warranty, while when bought from Amazon it is a standard 2 years. Hisense helpline advised that extended 5 years warranty applies only when purchased from that retailer (their Sales Rep failed to mention this to me, which cost him the sale!). This was the biggest disappointment buying from Amazon. TV. Overall, very good quality, but not 5 stars due to the dirty screen effect abt 10-15 cm wide vertical edges on the both sides of the screen. The rest is pretty good in terms of picture quality, sound, connectivity, applications, etc. I did not notice much blooming, which is quite small and you have to look for it. The picture appearance needs to be adjust for different type of input, especially if watching HDR 4k YouTube videos, which enable many setting parameters that otherwise are greyed out on other inputs. I disabled AI adaptation feature because I found it annoying when the picture (say, person’s face) automatically changes its appearance during the same movie scene. Lastly, a very annoying pop up Energy Efficiency Notice every time you press the Picture settings. There are many positive reviews online of this model and I agree with them, except one – sound quality. The reviewers and especially Sales Reps were telling that this TV needs a soundbar because the built in speakers are rubbish. In my opinion, they are great and do the job lovely. I can enhance bass booster in the settings and in my view no need for extra sound system. To note, my TV is not a wall fixed, but free standing 20-30 cm from the wall, which maybe helps. Also, the sound quality on Satellite and Aerial channels are much better than coming of the connected DVD player. Another observation, the power cable is on the opposite site from all other cables (important for you cable management). I could not pair my iPhone via Bluetooth (other devices like remote controller, headphones, etc are connected OK). My Panasonic DVD Player is 5 years old and it freezes when I select HDMI cable setting on Enhanced, but the problem is solved once the setting is on Automatic. In conclusion, I had a dilemma to choose between U8N 75” and U7N 85” for the same price. I chose 7 85” and do not regret to go large.

Outstanding visuals and sound quality
Brilliant and rich colours, powerful speakers, great build quality looks premium and modern. I would give 10/10 to tv it self only software is outdated and lacks app or features it should have we can't delete some pre installed apps or arrange them on home screen.

Happy to recommend
I was initially concerned about buying a TV with an operating system I had no experience with and which wasn't well known. However, the OS on this is the best I have ever used. It's fast to load up and extremely fluid and responsive in use. It was actually updated a few weeks ago and was genuinely an improvement on the original. As for the hardware itself, I'm not an expert or connoisseur but the picture looks great to me. It has loads of different picture modes and automatically adjusts when you change the input, e.g. it adjusts if I'm connecting my PC or playing from a connected harddrive. That all seems to work well. It even informs you when a particular mode might be using additional power. You can fine tune the picture yourself using the settings and, after a bit of playing around I've settled on settings that seem to suit my room pretty well. The sound is pretty good. I'm no audiophile but it is clear and can handle high volume levels without distortion which is fine for me. There is pretty much every app available that I can think of, in terms of streaming channels and the live TV app works well with a decent channel guide. Setting it up is easy. You just need to screw in the legs but best to have a second pair of hands to support the screen when doing that. Setting up the TV is equally straightforward. There's an app for the phone that you can install and use as an alternative to the remote if you prefer. Recommended. Totally happy with the purchase.

Amazing bit of kit
Outstanding bit of kit. I have just had the 100” installed in my living room. Amazing picture quality and I’m really impressed with the operating system. Tremendous value for money.

Nice picture. Terrible UI.
After my old TV died, a week or so of looking indicated that this TV gave the best value for money in the size that I was looking for, but the 2025 model got way better reviews than the 224 model, so I used CamelCamelCamel to alert me when the price dropped. I bought the TV at £800, and then the price promptly dropped again - note to self, but that doesn't form part of this review. Picture is pretty good (although most users will want to reduce the pre-set brightness) with very good contrast and no significant halos or other artefacts. and sound is okay, but the remote is confusing and generally pretty useless. The biggest problems are with the UI, which is absolute trash. As a UK user, with no TV licence, I can neither watch nor record TV as it is broadcast, so I obviously skipped the automated tuning in and can't comment on that. The set then asked to connect to the internet, which I chose to do via Wi-Fi, and to my horror, it immediately started to automatically play what certainly appeared to be live TV. Obviously, I stopped that ASAP and had a quick look at the Freely option, which I assumed would give me access to catch-up TV, which I can watch legitimately. Nope, more live TV, so I tried YouTube, only to find that the UI is unusable, even after signing into my account. I then connected the TV to a PC (actually a laptop for the moment) and configured a quick access key, for the HDMI port, so that there would be no more accidental access to live TV. Unfortunately, while the quick access key is fine for starting the TV, any accidental touch of the Freely key etc and you're potentially breaking the law. As of a couple of days ago, I disconnected the TV from my Wi-Fi and now it is functioning as what I wanted from the get-go - a nice monitor that's as dumb as a rock! It just ticks me off that in order to get a decent monitor (I don't even need speakers), I've had to pay for a computer and a load of AI trash (as well as internal audio) that I don't want and don't need. Of course the bonus of disconnecting from the internet is that doing so disables the spy in the house - AKA Siri, or whatever it's called. So in summary, if you have a TV licence, go look at other reviews. If you don't have a TV licence, don't even think about connecting this TV to the interweb. Edit: One thing that I should mention is that I mounted the TV on the wall. I initially assumed that I could simply mount it onto the same bracket that had supported my old Panasonic plasma but nope... The Panasonic mounted with four M8 bolts, but mounting the Hisense will require four M6 bolts, and these are not supplied instead, only two bolts were in the back of the TV when it arrived, and they were definitely too short to safely mount the TV on my admittedly rather chunky old bracket. I can't afford to have an £800 TV fall off the wall, so I ended up ordering sets of M6 "STAINLESS HEX SOCKET FLANGED BUTTON HEAD ALLEN BOLTS SCREWS" (e-bay description copied in case anyone needs them), one in 10mm and the other in 12mm. I very carefully screwed in the 12mm bolts until they were flush and they didn't penetrate through the other side of the threaded metal and into something that they shouldn't touch, so I used those to mount the TV. Now onto another design flaw.. The HDMI cables go into the TV on the left of the set, and the power cable goes in on the right. The HDMI sockets in particular, are difficult to reach with my rather chunky hands, and neat cable management is going to be a pain. Those wanting a "wireless" mount on a hollow wall will have to cut two holes for cables, and those wanting to use a single conduit having to wrap and secure cables around the bottom of the TV.
