When I purchased this island, I was looking for three very specific things. First, I wanted it to be more on the narrow side. My kitchen isn't really large enough for an island, but it's too large to not have something. This fits perfectly. The 2nd thing I was looking for was functionality. There isn't anywhere great to store my pots and pans except the lazy Susan, which - no thanks! The inside of the island is spacious enough to hold all of my pots and pans with no issue. The 3rd thing I was looking for was, stylistically, no hideous wheels or castors on the bottom. I absolutely love the functionality and beauty of the bottom. It can still move around with ease if needed, but looks like it sits flush on the ground. I am shocked at how much this holds. I still haven't been able to find a use for the cupboard or the open shelves and I have had this for months. One thing I do wish is that the countertop had more color options, but this is a good substitute for the awful gray wood everywhere. The countertop itself is tough. My family has definitely put a beating on it already with hot plates and utensils. I was terrified of it getting damaged, but it is resilient and definitely scratch resistant. Onto the nitty gritty, the assembly. It weighs a ton! It takes forever! But the overall product is worth it. The instructions were clear and all parts were there. This is definitely an all day project though, don't be like me and start at 10pm. Give yourself plenty of space and time. My only negative is that the back is pretty ugly. If you have a large kitchen and expect the back to be pretty visible, this may not be for you. But, if it's going against a wall, which it absolutely can, or in a smaller kitchen, I highly recommend it.

Assembly was lengthy, but not difficult. It looks exactly as pictured and fits our space perfectly. The wheels glide effortlessly and is sturdy. Spacious for the kids snacks! Better quality than I expected. Shipping was also faster than expected! Be warned, it is a HEAVY box so be sure to have some help available for bringing it in!

This was one of the only kitchen islands that fit the dimensions we needed! We really appreciate having the extra storage space and counter space in our tiny kitchen. I understand that you get what you pay for, but it would have been really nice to at least have wood on the top. It makes the whole kitchen look cheap. I have no idea how long it will last. I suppose it can be a placeholder for someday when we can spend tens of thousands to get custom cabinets and a remodeled kitchen. Sigh. In the meantime, cheap as it is, we’re glad we got it, appreciate the price, and it does what we need. It was not hard to put together (for reference, we’ve assembled many IKEA furniture pieces in the past) but definitely took all afternoon and part of the evening. My one design complaint is this: why are the knobs for the cabinets SO LOW??? This was made for adults who are standing, right? Unless you’re two feet tall, you have to squat or bend over alllllllll the way to the ground to get it open. If it were wood, I would redrill the holes and patch the old ones, but I don’t know about trying that with MDF and a thin sheet of plastic. Seems like the placement was a serious oversight for functionality that should have been fixed before selling it to the general public.

Found this island after looking at many others. Some say that its thinner than others, but that is great for a smaller kitchen space. There is a ton of storage. Assembly is easy and correct when you follow the instructions. (I did a couple things out of step lol). Once put together is looks great in any position we put it in the kitchen. The fact that is on casters is an added plus as we are able to move it depending on our needs. I was missing a fairly large panel in my box. But when I contacted support the provider replied back within 12 hours. Was understanding of my needs and went above and beyond to provide me with the part needed. I cannot recommend the provider enough, the fact that they would respond that quickly and in such a fashion shows that they care about the customer and how their products are perceived. The quality is great, I have put together many of these types of products over the last 30+ years and I can easily say that this one went together so easily.

Follow instructions, have the right tools, and this will be easy. I was able to put this together solo in little over 3.5 hours. Took it slow and read the instructions carefully, step by step. Instructions are well written and easy to follow. Everything is numbered as well as pictured clearly in the instruction booklet. Was well packed, there wasn't even a slight blemish of the island, even with outer box damage when it arrived. If you are using a drill, set the torque low so there isn't any stripping. I was a little disappointed that the top of the island was particle board, but the price was in my range, and I can work with it. It is a beautiful addition to my kitchen, and adds tons of storage. I can actually clear off some of my limited counter space and hide it away in this little island. The wheels on the bottom make it so easy to move out of the way if needed. I like being able to move it over to clean under, so nice. The work top is quite low. Not the same height as standard countertops, so be aware of that. Overall, for the price, I am pleased. It looks great, and serves me well.
