They last around 4-6 weeks, depending on how much the toilet is used. While they don’t fully prevent rings from our hard water, they do a great job of significantly improving overall cleanliness and keeping the toilet smelling fresh. I bought the lavender scented ones. Don't purchase! It did not smell like lavender at all, whatsoever. Plus the scent was so strong, I was gagging while using the toilet. I gave them some time, hoping the scent would wear off n maybe become tolerable... but after a week I had to throw the entire package in the trash. Outside! The other scents I have used - they smelled pleasant and kept the toilet clean between brushings. But this lavender is a no go!

Good product

Soft scrub toilet bowl cleaner are little balls encased into plastic. Conveniently hangs on the rim of your toilet and as you flush, the water washes cleaner into your toilet bowl. I have used other brands—not encased in the plastic, and as the cleaner gets smaller, the “whole chunk” of cleaner falls into the toilet—WASTED. That doesn’t happen with this brand. I order from Amazon because my local Target doesn’t carry it.

I mean it works. It does not change your water color, but you can tell its working cause it does leave bubbles after every flush. It gets rid of that ugly water ring, and I have not had to scrub my toilet since putting it on. There is a smell when you first put it on, but after about 10 minutes it goes away. So, it does not leave a scent, which is fine cause I dont need my bathroom smelling like lavender.

No "refreshing smell" at all.

This doesn't work for all toilets. Mine uses little water when flushed. This rim hanger requires lots of water to be effective.
