I wasn’t quite sure what I was expecting but it wasn’t this. What I thought I knew about Oliver from the previous books, was completely wrong. When we meet him we think he’s just another playboy who doesn’t believe in love, but that wasn’t the case at all. It’s a facade he hides behind, so he doesn’t have to tell the truth… Ollie has loved and lost and it’s the type of love you don’t move on from.Briar our FMC doesn’t come from a loving home, the one person she can count on is Oliver. He’s her friend and even becomes her boyfriend… something happens that tears them apart… and throughout this story the secrets get revealed for why they are no longer together. This story does have a few flashbacks where we get to see the depth of each others feelings and how much these two meant to one another.In the present Brair isn’t forgiving of Oliver, a fight turns into a accident where Brair has lost her memories, and the last thing she remembers is Oliver and her being together… none of what tore them apart. This story is so uniquely it’s own, the characters are charming and real. Oliver worships Brair but is also so funny and carefree with how he is with Brair, I loved him so much. Brair has been through heartache and still is this free spirit and beautifully caring person, who is strong and unstoppable in her conviction. I loved seeing her shine light back into the live of Oliver and anyone else she comes into contact with. This story is so beautifully told, and addicting I kept turning the pages to see the banter and the mystery unfold.10 out of 10 recommend this book, I went in pretty blindly and it was totally worth it, and made it that much more enjoyable.

Loved, loved this whole series.This is a sleeping beauty retelling and so worth the read. If you have read the two other books in this series you would think you knew Oliver but when you get to this book, everything you thought you knew is wrong.Learning about Oliver and his background and why Briar is the perfect match for him.Briar is a headstrong woman but she knew there was always something about Ollie.

Exquisite storytelling and compelling characters combine to create a masterful tale that I was unable to put down. Ollie and Briar are the perfect foils for each other and I loved every minute of their story. This should absolutely jump to the top of your TBR!

You thought you knew Oliver from the first two books? You’re wrong. Oliver is hiding many things and he is tortured by his secrets. When Briar comes into his sphere again in this Sleeping Beauty retelling, Oliver has a second chance to make things right. I loved the banter in the group chat, the way Oliver & Briar tried to one-up each other in their wedding planning, and the healing Briar brought to the family. There were some painfully emotional scenes and the beauty in family was sublime.
