I love this boots. I got 8.5w for thick socks. I normally wear 8.5. This boots is very light and still have durability for cold and snowing grounds. I bought another pair for my daughter.

I don't like writing reviews, but I had to for this product. My feet are wide and my dorsal arch is high. It is very difficult to find a shoe that will not sacrifice comfort in one area to accommodate another area of my foot. I needed a good sturdy hiking boot for climbing on rocks. I took a gamble on this boot. Oh, boy! I hit the jackpot on this one! This boot is soooo comfortable! I can't wait to use them.

The suede is exactly what I was exspecting. I don't like ordering shoes on line but just trying them on, the fit is perfect. I ordered a 81/2 W. The test will be the hike. I'll return to update.
