Reoccurring Cornea Erosion
I have RCE (reoccurring corneal erosion). The doctor said my upper tissue was ripping, healing, then when my eyes swell during sleep it rips again. Muro 128 sucks the water out of your eyes so they dont swell when yiu sleep. I have to make sure the strip runs across the full eye although the demo shows only doing the corner. The CVS dupe also works well. I tried the muro 128 solution and it stings so bad. The ointment is better.

The best hypersonic solution
The only and best hypertonic solution for the cornea. I tried generic brands to save money, and I will save you time, they do not work as well.

Messy
This is a great product. My dog has corneal edema in one eye and it definitely helps in reducing the fluid build up in her eye. I use the solution because I tried the ointment and it gets very messy and hard to administer. So, I would definitely recommend the solution. Also, the price is right.

Have Used Muro 128 5% Ointment for Years for Corneal Edema
I have issues with corneal edema with my eyes. My doctor recommended Bausch & Lomb Muro 128 Sodium Chloride Ointment for my eyes every night before bed. I have tried generic ointment products, but believe Muro ointment has been the best for my condition. The Muro Ointment can be quite pricey however, which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. Now for full disclosure: I have also used Bausch & Lomb Muro Sodium Chloride EYE DROPS for my eyes during the day, but have found Bausch & Lomb eye drops quite expensive overall, because I use the drops several times a day, and go through a bottle very quickly. So for daytime eye drops, I have found another effective brand which is more reasonably priced.

Seems effective. Helped fix eye pain.
Helped get rid of my eye pain. I used to wake up with eye pain in my right eye. Now I have been using it for about more than a week and I am no longer waking up with eyes feeling like someone punched me in the eye in my sleep.

Easy to get when needed. Ointment works well for me.
Great, need for my extremely itchy, burning eyes! As a result of many eye surgeries, that is a very frequent occurrence. Preferably, I use the ointment at night, as it is a little thick, and this way it will take a better effect with your eyes closed for when you wake up. Since this is an OTC and if not familiar with this product, they do have drops available also. The generic brands from well-known stores are equally good. Sometimes, there are sales., as it gets expensive. I haven't tried the drops yet. There are different %'s and amounts in the tubes. Some pharmacies may even keep behind their counter. I cannot recall the price of this, but they can be hard to get on the shelves at stores. So, it is easier to get it through here and it's quick. However, for me, works when needed.
