It’s actually very expensive for what it is… it’s just a clock with basic LED functions.Like more toys or accessories for children manufacturers and selling ramp up the prices knowing parents will buy it to help their children and hopefully themselves.Mine arrived without a UK plug which was very frustrating. Luckily I used an iPhone charger plug to let my daughter set it up and start to use it.The clock and light setup does work though and my daughter likes to wait until it goes green.Instead of this you could just purchase a smart colour changing lightbulb for £15 from Amazon and use Alexa to set up a morning routine. At least then you can dim it and let the child chose a colour.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a super cute sleep trainer. Bought as an upgrade to the grow clock which my 3 and half year old daughter learnt how to hack in a day.This is great as the buttons are on the bottom and there is a lock so hopefully will hold out a while to my curious little one.The only disappointment is that there is no smart phone connectivity which I feel having that and removing all buttons would make this the ultimate sleep trainer.

The design and function is really good, but the display is just too bright and hurts your eyes in a dark room - even just on the time function. Can’t find a way to turn it down. Using it anyway but have to cover up the face sometimes which I suppose defeats the object.

Exactly what wanted. Daughter loves it. Brightness of light is good. Not too bright but not too dim either. Easy functionality and looks great!

It is a good looking, fun product. The locking facility is great and as yet the kids havent worked out how to unlock it. Good idea about the colour changing, green is for getting up etc. However the disaply is too bright at night. I am using a stuffed toy in front of it to cover it up. If I hadnt thrown away the packaging I would have returned it. I think the gro clock is better.

This clock is amazing. Yes, it's pricey, but it has been worth it for us. My three year old had started waking up one to two hours earlier than normal and yelling for me to wake up. I finally bought this to get some sleep! It works so well. She loved it instantly, and refers to Mella as "her." She's her friend who helps her to know when it's morning time and when it's sleeping time. My daughter loves that Mella has a cute face! Of course it takes a few nights to get her to respect Mella and know that green means she can be up, but it really only took a couple and she's been so good at staying in her room and playing quietly. It has helped with nighttime wakings as well - sometimes she wakes in the night, but unless she's had a nightmare or something where she really needs me, she seems to realize Mella is still "sleeping" and goes back to sleep on her own.We don't use the alarm feature yet, but have tested it, and it seems to work well. We've used the nap timer a couple of times - my daughter doesn't really nap, but it works for quiet time as well. It doesn't work as well for that for our daughter, but I think that's largely because I haven't put as much effort into training her to have a good quiet time now that she's stopped napping.I love that Mella displays the actual time, too - for one thing, it's a handy reference when I'm in my daughter's room, and also it will be good as my daughter grows to understand the actual time and not just the colours.The one CON I have for Mella is a small one, the nightlight seems to cycle through colours although there are only a few options to leave it on, so there is a moment where it's this bright pink colour which you can't get it to stay on, and my daughter inevitably wants it to be pink (her favourite colour).... she settles for the purple-pink, and I've learned to have it facing me while I switch it when she decides she wants a different colour, so we've made it work, but it is a minor annoyance.We don't use the songs or the white noise - we have a separate white noise machine we've been using for her since she was a baby. They do work though, and occasionally my daughter turns on the songs for her animals (she doesn't like it when she sleeps, but sometimes her stuffies want it when she's awake but they're still resting, haha).I am really looking forward to the fact that this will help my daughter stop yelling for me at all hours of the night and morning, especially as we have another child on the way. I would highly recommend this clock!! I expect my daughter to continue using it for several years yet, as the alarm and digital clock features mean it can grow with her, and it's got a lovely design that's fun and cute without being too baby-ish.

We have had the Mella OK To Rise clock for about a week now. We absolutely love it! I knew I wanted an ok to wake clock for my toddler when we started to transition him out of his crib, but they are all so ugly and cheap looking; even the pricey ones! I love that Mella is sleek but still cute.Mella has all the features I was looking for: an ok to wake function with colored lights, a night light, a nap timer, and a sound machine. All the functions are intuitive and easy to set. The ok to wake function is set and forget; the others you do have to turn the unit over to press the buttons. But once you set all the different functions all you have to do is press one button.Things I'd like to see in future models:*the nap timer isn't set like the ok to wake function and I wish it was. My toddler's nap starts at differing times but always ends at 3. I wish I could set the nap timer to start whenever I press it, and end at the same time every day.*a way to preset sequences and turn them on with one button. The ok to wake function is always on, but I have to manually turn on the night light and sounds. Being able to set the ok to wake, night light, and sounds to run all together would streamline our bedtime routine.*Have the face sleep for naptime. My 2.5 year olds biggest gripe is that "Melly" doesn't have to nap when he does. He loves going upstairs at night to see if Melly is sleeping yet, and having that same experience for nap would be fantastic.*Link to an app. I realize this is a big ask, and for the current price I am not complaining, but being able to turn different functions on and off without going into my kid's room would be amazing.*Ditch the yellow "play quietly" light. Or be able to turn it off. My kiddo's not old enough to get it quite yet.All of these are just things that would make this an even more amazing product.The bottom line is: it works, it's easy to set and adjust the settings, it's super cute, and my kid adores it. He hugs and kisses "Melly" every night before bed, and loves that it's eyes blink. We will absolutely buy another one when/if we have another kiddo or my current toddler loves this one to death.

The clock looks good at first until only after 6m of normal usage, it cannot go to sleep at night, and the sleep time and wake up color doesnt work at all. very disappointed. so pricy.

My 3 year old was having some sleep regression and we didn’t want him getting up whenever and sound whatever. So we got this alarm sleep trainer. It’s absolutely fantastic. You can clearly tell the company that made this put a ton of thought into its design and function and then executed the product perfectly.Easy to set up. Super functional. High quality. Cute. Tons of features. Son loves it.It’s very easy to setup. I was able to get the time set, sleep times set, and custom options I wanted set in a matter of a few minutes. Very easy. Just follow the clear directions that come with it the first time and you’ll remember how to do it going forward.Make sure you pull the clear battery protector out. I didn’t the first night and accidentally unplugged it and had to reprogram it. Not a big deal but just make sure you pull the clear tab out.I love the functionality and custom options. You can set the times you want, choose different light colors and when/if they turn on and when. You can set alarms or leave them off. It’s just a wonderful product that covers all your needs.Her name is Mella and from night 1 my son loves her and follows her “glow color” to know when it’s bed time, play time, and awake time.HIGHLY recommend this product. It’s worth every cent.
