I was surprised about the negative reviews. This is a small red deer skin and very nice. For comparison I took a picture beside a goat pelt. It looks great in front of my fireplace.

Very pleased with size and everything. Minimal shedding, they’re soft and feel expensive. My cat barfed on one right away and I was able to use my Shark mess master and it looks perfect. When you take them out of the bag, step on em for a bit and the edges will flatten out.

The hide is beautiful with a luxury feel to the pelt, also a rich color. What I need help with is how to work with cowlicks, there are a lot of them. Also concerning the smell. There are so many sites that address this problem and I decided to use charcoal, all natural.

Had to return these rugs. They had a terrible odor. Completely freaked out one of my dogs. It was a terrible smell.

I’ve seen reviews that said this animal skin is just a goat from China. Honestly, it’s not super nice but I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a really nice one. It’s just a decorative piece to go with a style I’m trying to create. It’s fine for the price
