Looks like real moss and does not turn brown. It expands once yo remove it from the vacuum sealed package. It looks like real moss so it works well with artificial plants. There is no need to water to keep it moist. Much less messy than real moss. I am a rather picky person and I definitely recommend this. Color is like real moss. Easy to use as you pull of r cut off what you need. Good texture.

This is not moss, but rather a silky stringy stretchy yarn type material that resembles moss. I didn’t realize that when I ordered it. However, it worked beautifully for my project. It’s a bright “spring green”. It goes far so there is plenty left over for another project. Although not moss in the true sense, I like it.

This product is amazing and goes a long way. Looks realistic. It’s stretchy so you are able to work it to fit the space needed. Bright and vibrant. Comes vacuum sealed but immediately starts to fluff.

My mom has a faux tree in the home I was dying go get rid but after a good wash and the addition of this magical stuff it looks brand new! Was pleasantly surprised by this product. It comes compressed in air tight bag but really fluffs up and expands the more you stretch it. 1 package did the perfect job of covered a 16” pot well. Interested to see how it holds up but so far i am very pleased with this purchase!

This stuff is going to be ideal for little terrarium/diorama craft scenes. It's very much fake, and feels like it'll hold up well to handling/shaping/gluing and time. I personally don't think it looks great around potted or fake plants that someone is trying to get a real moss vibe with, but for small scale micro-designs, absolutely. It's unique and can be combined with other more traditional fake moss or plant materials to create some really neat textured ground covers.

It's perfect. It looks like moss to fill my in-house planters at the base of plants.

Texture is like yarn. Sticks to everything including your hands, the basket and/or tree. Frustrating and very, very difficult to work with. Stays clumped together. Does not separate easily. Appears to be one giant, connected mass of material. Would not recommend. End results is unsatisfactory.
