Great replica, and identical to the one used by Arigorn in the LOTR trilogy. a very cleanly designed sword. It is a large two handed sword and correctly replicated and licensed by United Cutlery. the sword came well packaged and delivery was very fast, days before its projected date. Great seller, very happy with this purchase and great price as well.

The sword is an excellent well made replica. I would suggest using different plastic anchors than the ones provided with the wall mount as I’ve had them punch holes and drop into the drywall when attempting to screw in the screws on other install of other replica items I’ve received from United Cutlery,

sturdy and looks good for a display. the hilt on mine wiggles slightly but that doesn't seem to affect how it sits on the stand. at $200+ I would have expected it to be more firmly assembled though

WARNING/ADVICE: once you get your sword check the blade up and down making sure it doesn’t have imperfections you may find later. My main issue is the quality control on the blades. My first sword came with the top 4 inches not ground properly so the point was off center. I exchanged it only to get another sword with blade defects. The fuller had a divot in it and the width was not consistent all the way through. The blade was also ground so the entire blade was bent/leaning. That being said I have no issues with the hilt, cross guard or pommel. It was put together quite nicely, very solid and heavy I might add but it felt nice to hold. I am currently in the process of sending back the second sword and debating on whether I should exchange it for another one or exchange it for a different sword or just get my money back and move on. Customer service hasn’t been that great either. When I first encountered the problem they just wrote back they would be happy send a return/exchange label which I was happy to do. After the second sword was defective I got frustrated and emailed them with a few questions about if it’s a current problem with the sword or if it’s a freak accident that I got two bad ones in a row. Customer service either didn’t answer fully or didn’t answer correctly so I would highly caution you against buying. You may need to exchange or return it a few times before you get a good one.

I’ve seen another reviewer who left negative feedback about the box the sword was packaged in. For me, it’s not the sword itself that’s in question — but the expectations. The original swords by United Cutlery come in this cool packaging, branded to align with Lord of the Rings. It makes the experience of getting the sword a little more exciting. Some shipments of the Strider swords don’t have the external sleeve like the originals, so while that may disappoint, the sword will not. As far as I can tell, it’s the real deal from United Cutlery. Although, I do NOT believe the handle is wrapped in genuine leather like earlier versions and other swords, which is a slight let down. Considering it’s meant to hang on a wall, I’m less upset by this, but it’s especially noticeable looking at Glamdring and Anduril. Aside from that, it comes with the certificate of authenticity. It looks like Strider’s sword. It feels like a sturdy sword. Its engraved blade is consistent with others I’ve seen and the Andúril and Glamdring I own. I chalk it up to being real. I’m not sure why the sleeve is different, but at the end of the day, it’s a box. It’s not the box you want, it’s the sword. If that’s what you want, you won’t be disappointed.

I got this as a gift for a relative, and am very pleased. This was just as described. It came in a different box as some other buyers have mentioned, but I did not buy this for a box, I bought it for the item and wall mount.

Schwerter vom Typ Anderthalbhänder (oder auch Langschwert) wurden im 14-17 Jahrhundert eingesetzt. Es ist ordentlich verarbeitet und tut seinen Zweck. Das heist es würde wenn man mit voller Kraft gegen Metall hauen würde, vermutlich am Schaft brechen. Aber es wird ja auch als nicht kampftauglich beschrieben und sollte dafür auch nicht verwendet werden. Die Klinge besitzt rundherum eine Fehlschärfe, nur die Spitze ist sehr spitz. Für Herr der Ringe Fans mit Interesse an Deko ein absoluter Pflichtkauf.
