The Basement Watchdog Maintenance Free (AGM) Standby Battery for Backup Sump Pumps (BW-27AGM)

Been waiting for watchdog to offer a maintenence free battery for years. This works great with my older backup watchdog pump (installed about 13-14 yrs ago). The instructions even show you what to do with the probe that you would insert into the old batteries. Took about 3 minutes to hook up.

Worked with my old Watchdog battery back-up sump pump which is probably 15 years old. or more. (Yellow box and yellow pump, battery probe attaches to positive terminal to this battery to ) Nice that I did not have to add acid to the battery, but not keen about the battery terminals which are 2 bolts and 4 washers which are provided. Yes, it likely does weigh around 50 pounds. The extra $30 more I paid on amazon than at a big box store 25 miles away was worth it to this senior lady!

Replaced and is working fine

Great replacement battery for the old standard back-up battery that we had (by the same company) for our sump pump. It is HEAVY, so be prepared to have someone help you get it into your basement. But installation was a breeze. The instructions are clear, so just follow them. Highly recommend.

This item is so useful when you have a sump pump in the basement and the utilities go out. It warns you by beeping when the utilities come back on the reset

As promised, delivered on time. Battery works, and I assume it will have a long life like other batteries I have purchased from Basement Watchdog.
