Humble Beginnings Located in the scenic mountains of Southern California, Lark Ellen Farm is nestled in the beautiful Ojai Valley. Ojai (pronounced O-hi) has for many years been a mecca for those seeking physical and spiritual health. Over the years both young and old have found their way to this lovely town. At the East end of the valley lies Lark Ellen Farm. A small farm where fresh organic eggs come from free ranging chickens. Fruit, vegetables and herbs grow in abundance in rich organic soil. It is here, where a commitment to good health prevails, that their Grain Free Granola was created. Grainless Goodness It all began with a 30-day commitment to avoid all grains. This was a desperate attempt for Lark Ellen the founder of Lark Ellen Farm to heal her digestive system. She had been reading about how grains and wheat can cause inflammation, so she turned my body into an experiment to see if avoiding them would make a difference. At the end of the trial period, she felt great, my digestive system had improved, and some lifelong chronic pain was gone! She never wanted to go back to grains. She began to experiment with sprouting and dehydrating nuts and seeds, and combining them with delicious and healthy ingredients. Real Food her new creations were popular with friends and family, who suggested she sell them at the Ojai Farmers' Market. They sold out the first day and haven't stopped since. They have grown our facility, but remain commited to their original values. They continue to sprout their nuts and seeds, and handcraft each batch. No fillers, additives, or grains of any kind are ever used.
