Best Detangling Brush Ever!
This brush works amazingly well. It glides through my hair without pulling, reduces breakage, and leaves it feeling smooth and manageable. The bristles are gentle but effective, and it works great on both wet and dry hair. If you struggle with tangles, this brush is a must-have!

Great brush
I really enjoy at how gentle but effect this brush is at detangling. I definitely don’t shed as much brushing with this opposed to other brushes. I have very long hair. So far it has been durable and the design is effective. If you have massive tangles or matting, you will need patience using this brush because it is designed to minimize hair pulling. The size is standard and all around good every day brush.

So gentle on hair but powerful on knots
Best detangler/brush I have ever owned. The reviews don’t lie! I’m so glad I bought this brush to replace my WET brush. Very little hair breakage when detangling after washing and does an amazing job on dry hair too. I have medium length fine hair and I’ve noticed a huge reduction in hair being pulled out. My kids keep stealing this brush too so I’ll be buying more.

Wondeful
This brush is so pretty and it works great with tangles. It’s easy to hold and it doesn’t slip despite it not having any rubber. It’s super easy to clean as well.

Great but Not Perfect
I’ve been using the Tangle Teezer Ultimate Detangler for a very long time now, and it’s been a great addition to my hair-care routine. This brush does a genuinely good job gliding through both wet and dry hair. Even on days when my hair feels extra knotty, it cuts through tangles with far less resistance than traditional brushes. One of the standout features is how gentle it feels on the scalp. The flexible teeth give a light, a little comfortable massage effect instead of that harsh scraping sensation some brushes cause. It removes tangles and without needing to yank or pull hard so much. For very stubborn knots, I might need take 3 or 4 passes,—but it still performs better than most brushes I’ve tried. The size is practical: big enough to cover good sections of hair at once, yet still easy to maneuver. It’s lightweight kind of slime, i guess compared to my normal brushes, but doesn’t feel flimsy. The grip is decent. I wouldn’t mind a slightly more textured handle for better hold when my hands are wet. Pain level is very low. Overall, a reliable and comfortable brush that help makes the detangling process easier.

Good brush
Works really well for me. I do have thinner hair and I don't know if this would be the greatest on super thick hair. I like how lightweight it is and the way it feels on my scalp. Detangles pretty easily. Overall it's my favorite new brush and I'm happy with my purchase.

An absolute GAME CHANGER
Ok, so imagine this... I have a 5yr old who yes, already prides herself in being her girly self. She likes her pretty dresses and matching bows. She has a "pretty" shoe collection to rival her mom's. She THINKS she has a face and body regimen complete w lotions & sprays that matches other kids in spite of the fact that I assure her that no, in fact, she IS spoiled. She has enjoyed trips to the nail salon since she was about 3 1/2 and to top it allll off, my jewelry loving, crown wearing, perfected her curtsy princess self also has naturally wavy/gently curly hair down to her waist to match the persona. Let me tell you, that sweet little princess, while she likes the end result, turns into nothing short of a monstrous miniture banshee the second a brush touches her hair. Have you ever attempted to bathe a cat that hates water? Yes? Well NOW we are on the same page. The hair brushing part of grooming more often than not turns into a very brutal game of cat and mouse. I'm petite. Being my daughter, so is she but I kid you not, she develops speed and super strength like none other. She can squirm, run and crawl pretty much daring you to grab her ankle and drag her back. If you've ever seen the CROODS- the famous scene, "release the baby", that is us. If you haven't seen it I recommend a quick Google or YouTube search. You'll laugh, you might cry, you might even have pity on my poor soul. Anyway, at some point, it usually develops into one or both of us in tears. It gets worse before it gets better. But alas!! (insert heavenly music) this brush... Don't get me wrong, I have tried MANY different wet & detangling brushes. Including the very well-known tear shaped version. I myself have naturally curly hair- spirals that hate humidity no less. I understand hair. Plus, i have worked in several salons over the years including those that specialize in multicultural hair. Different textures and grades have particular needs indeed. I've been through chemo multiple times too and so I need something gentle on the hair and scalp that could still manage the curls when they came back in. While the tear shape came close, this one takes it hands-down. The very first thing I noticed was the actual feel of the brush and bristles. It's a soft plastic. Smooth to the touch. The bristles are multi-lengthed which allow you to really penetrate the hair. They are perfectly flexible. That flexibilty is what gives the detanglers the ability to do their job without ripping out the hair. These are a little more so. They are thus able to work WITH the hair instead of snagging causing more damage by stretching and snapping strands. Additionally, the smoothness of the bristles allows the brush to glide without getting stuck. It's perfect for working product through the length. What I especially LOVE is the shape! It is ergonomically designed. It fits perfectly in the hand giving you unparalleled control. Especially when using a leave in conditioner or detangler. Those tear-shaped brushes can be a pain to maintain a good grip on. Especially when you have Houdini Jr trying to wiggle away at the slightest pull and then when feeling a let up of restriction on my part takes that as her queue to flee like her life depends on it. In seriousness, I often have problems with my hands due to my medical. They hurt to grip and so again, the shape and feel of this brush makes it easy for me to manage. It's "soft" and comfortable. When all is said and done, a quick rinse under running water and there is NO product left to create build up for later. I know you've seen it- it's maddening to say the least. Who wants to put THAT back in their hair?!?! One important note however, this brush is NOT intended for use with heat. Use it as a natural styler or pre-detangler either in or after the shower! I can't wait to tell the other women in my family about this. From thick, to thin, curls, waves, medical needs etc- this one does it. I'll actually be ordering an extra for our house. Why??? Well, even my husband laughed hard when "she-beast" came running out of the bathroom and down the hall to where he was in the living room watching tv. He was expecting the same drama but what he got was a little girl stopped dead in front of him. She leans to the side so that her hair falls, hanging in front of him. In a dramatic but matter-of-fact display, she pulls the brush from her scalp all the way to the ends announcing, "No pulls, no snarls." What we got was our very own infomercial but hey, it speaks for itself!

It’s definitely not a panacea. Still a lot of crying

Ok brush but not as nice as their original brushes were. They don't feel as comfortable as original.

I have owned Tangle Teezers without handles before and thought they were ok, but a little inconvenient to use. Trying this brush has converted me though - the added handle makes it is much easier to hold! It brushes so easily through wet, dry, and conditioner-saturated hair, tackling any tangles in my (slightly fried and frequently knotty!) bleached hair with very little resistance. The lack of pulling means less hair breakage too, helping improve how my hair looks and feels. Both my partner (short, fine hair) and I (long, thick hair) really love this brush. So much so that - when he was away for a couple of days recently - we joked about playing rock-paper-scissors for who would have the 'good' brush! Two different lengths of hair, two different thicknesses - but a perfect tool for both of us! It is really easy to clean too. The fact that it is a hard plastic makes it super easy to remove any hair and then wash the 'base' under the bristles. A quick heads-up though, as I think it can be easy to miss on the listing - you cannot use this brush with any heat styling, or your hair dryer will melt, bend, and deform the bristles! That all said, I think this is a really good brush for a good price. Though I will admit that, for the cost, I do wish it was blow-dryer safe (but not enough to risk ignoring the instructions and breaking it!)

Just as described. My hair is always tangled after wash; I pull off many strands daily with a regular brush. It seems that this magical brush terminates this sad routine. I love it!
