Yes. The easiest way is to download their app on your phone and transfer them that way using the camera’s WiFi connection.

will the camera record video when held vertical?

Yes it will and then you can use your editor to change it to a normal format.

Does this camera come with rechargeable battery and charger?

It charges internally. Mine did not come with an external charger. It came with a 5V USB adapter and cord to plug into the camera. Out of the box, camera is not charging.
