A little expensive when I purchased it. But good little ssd. But this rather than the QLC version.

I purchased the Silicon Power 2TB US75 NVMe PCIe Gen4 M.2 2280 SSD to expand storage in a ProxMox server build, and I’ve been very satisfied with the results. The packaging was straightforward and easy to open, and although there were no detailed instructions included, anyone familiar with NVMe drives will find installation simple. It’s a standard-sized component, but the build feels solid and high-quality. Once installed, the drive performed exactly as advertised — offering excellent speeds and reliable performance. I specifically chose this model because of its impressive read/write speeds (up to 7,000/6,500 MB/s) and the very competitive price point. Compared to more expensive NVMe drives I’ve used, this Silicon Power drive holds its own, providing a cost-effective way to add 2TB of fast, responsive storage to my lab setup. The top strengths for me are definitely the price, capacity, and rated speed. These made it an easy choice for expanding my server’s storage affordably. The only minor drawback is that it does not come with a heatsink, which is important for installations in heat-sensitive environments like a PlayStation 5 or a high-demand server — so be sure to provide your own. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this SSD to anyone looking to expand storage on a PC, server, or PS5 without breaking the bank. I’d gladly buy this product again for future builds. ⭐ Rating: 5 out of 5 stars — For its price-to-performance ratio, capacity, and speed, this drive delivers excellent value and has worked perfectly in my setup. Tip for buyers: Make sure to add your own heatsink if using it in a system where cooling is critical.

The Silicon Power 1TB US75 is an exceptional solid-state drive that combines speed, reliability, and affordability in a sleek, high-performance package. Whether you're upgrading your laptop or adding extra storage to your desktop, this drive offers impressive value for money, making it a standout choice in its category. Pros: Blazing Fast Performance: With read speeds up to 560MB/s and write speeds up to 530MB/s, the US75 delivers excellent speed for both booting up your system and transferring large files. The NVMe 3.0 interface ensures that you get quick load times and a seamless computing experience, even with intensive applications or games. 1TB Capacity: 1TB of storage offers plenty of room for your operating system, software, games, and media files. It's an ideal solution for those looking to move away from slower HDDs or small SSDs without breaking the bank. Reliable Build Quality: Silicon Power has a reputation for producing durable and reliable products, and the US75 is no exception. The drive features an advanced wear-leveling algorithm, error correction code (ECC), and thermal throttling to ensure longevity and data integrity. Easy Installation: With the M.2 2280 form factor and support for both PCIe Gen3 x4 and NVMe 1.3, the US75 is compatible with a wide range of systems. Installation is simple, and the drive immediately boosts system performance once plugged in. Great Value: For the price, the US75 delivers premium performance without the premium cost. This makes it an excellent choice for users who want high-speed storage but don’t want to pay top-tier prices for more well-known brands. Cons: No DRAM Cache: While the absence of DRAM means slightly slower performance under heavy, sustained workloads (like large sequential writes), it won't significantly impact everyday use, gaming, or general productivity tasks. For most users, this is a non-issue. Final Thoughts: The Silicon Power 1TB US75 is a fantastic SSD that balances price, performance, and capacity. It’s perfect for upgrading older systems or building a new rig where fast, reliable storage is needed without spending a fortune. Whether you’re into gaming, content creation, or just general computing, this drive provides the speed and storage space you need, all while being highly cost-effective.
