Great find!
Very comfortable, great for everyday wear, exercise, or for boating & swimming. Stretchy, flattering 5” modest length shorts are perfect! Size is accurate based on measurements given, material is nice weight and not see through. Deep pockets are a bonus. I would buy these shorts again.

Great! So comfy! 100% recommend
I usually wear size 12 to 14 in jeans so I bought a size 12 in these shorts and they fit perfectly. A 14 probably would be fine too but maybe a lil baggy. They 7 inch inseam covers most of my upper thighs without digging in or riding up when I move (I'm 5ft with 24 inch inseam) They are a bit stretchy and the waistband hits right at natural waist so I don't have to pull them up or readjust at all. Nice big pockets too, I wish the pockets zipped shut, but they are still good. The built in underwear are also actually really nice, no wedgie vibes. Encompasses the whole cheek. Totally would recommend these. They aren't super sexy or anything, but they don't look frumpy at all either. Great for water sport that requires more reliable coverage!

Favorite shorts but…
Let me start by saying I absolutely love these shorts and plan to buy more. They are flattering and comfy. Loose without being baggy. Mid rise which is great for my short torso. Nice wide waistband with an internal infinity drawstring. And seem well made. So why only 4 stars?? I initially purchased the 5 inch shorts to wear as swim bottoms. But I liked the fit so much that I decided they were way to comfy not to wear as everyday shorts. Then I went and bought 2 pairs of the 9 inch ones since they were on sale. Once again, perfection!! Prime Day arrived with even better pricing, so I bought a pair of the 7 inch inseam. This is where the shorts lost a star. Same size as the 5 and 9, but tighter in the waist. So I returned them and later bought a second pair of 7 inchers in a different color, thinking it must’ve been an anomaly or maybe a color thing. Nope. Again too snug for me. So back those went and re-ordered a size up. These fit perfect!!! Just like the smaller size in the 5 and 9. I did end up getting yet another pair of 7 inchers and oddly they are looser than the other ones. So I’m thinking there might be some quality control issues with the 7 inch shorts. This is why the shorts get a 4 stars rating as opposed to a 5. Also, remember these are designed as “swim shorts” so the material is more of a swim material, but not heavy. I live in Florida, and they are still comfortable for me. They do have the built-in brief liner. I may or may not cut that out, but I don’t really notice it much when I wear them with underwear. Just know that if you like to wear boy short/boxer type undies, the brief liner may not work so well with them. All that being said, I highly recommend these shorts. You can follow the Amazon sizing for the 5’s and 9’s, but maybe go up a size in the 7’s. Hope this review is helpful for anyone on the fence about these.

5” perfection
5" Swim Board Shorts. Here's the deal: **Pros:** * **Size Sassy:** Listen up, ladies with "thunder thighs" (like yours truly), these shorts are your new best friends. They actually fit **heads up** a bit big. I had to size down for that perfect, non-binding fit. * **Quick Change Artist:** These things dry faster than a wink! No more soggy shorts clinging to you after a dip. * **Black Beauty:** The black color is like, the blackest black. And it stays that way, wash after wash. No turning into a sad shade of gray here. * **Chafe-Free Zone:** The 5-inch inseam is the Goldilocks zone of lengths. Long enough to prevent chafing, but not so long they weigh you down. * **Thunder Thigh Approved:** As mentioned before, these shorts fit my, ahem, *curvy* legs perfectly. No sausage casing action here! **Cons:** * **Honestly, Trying Here:** I'm reaching for cons, but I'm genuinely having a hard time finding any. Maybe...if I *really* nitpick...the **care instructions** might be nice to have sewn into the shorts themselves? **The Verdict:** These Willit Women's 5" Swim Board Shorts are a win. Seriously, comfy, quick-drying, perfect length, and they come in thunder-thigh-friendly sizes. What more could a gal ask for?

Comfy, good quality - great for swimming, kayaking and boating!
I had to exchange twice for larger sizes, but in the end I LOVE these! Pretty much all the reviews said to size down, so I did - I'm a 16 in most bottoms, so I tried a 14 - too tight. I returned those for a 16 and those were a little more snug than I wanted too - so I tried an 18, and that pair is very comfortable. I am pear shaped, so if you are bottom heavy maybe don't size down. I took these shorts on vacation, and wore them swimming, kayaking, and boating and they're perfect. I don't have to worry about wearing shorts over bathing suit bottoms, and theyre super quick to dry. The best part is that the swim brief is not crazy tight, so they were comfortable to wear all day, even sitting in a kayak for hours.

Great, modest swim shorts
I haven't swam in these yet, but after trying them on, I'm sold. I am about to head to SeaBase with scouts and needed some good, modest swim shorts for the trip. These are perfect!! I usually wear a medium/6 and I ordered a 6 and they fit true to size. Nice pockets and great length. Waist band is over the mom pooch, but under the belly button, so I'm happy with the waist band too. It's nice a wide. I'll probably order another pair and live in them for a week.

These swimming shorts are great. They have a matching underpant inside and fit great and extremely comfortable. I usually wear a 12 pant, but I bought these in a 10 and there is lots of room. They don’t cling or feel tight anywhere. I bought the 7” leg and this is a great length. Very roomy and relaxed fit. Edited: I have used these many times swimming as well as Aquatic Fit Classes and these are really nice on, even over a bathing suit. In fact, I like them so much I just bought another pair in a different colour. I have also worn these in the pool swimming and Aquatic Fit Classes and the y feel great. They also dry quickly. I do recommend these if you want swimming shorts.

Well made and comfortable swim shorts. Comfortable (slightly large) but it fits well/not a concern. Love the pockets. Will get more :)

I was really excited about this swimsuit because the design is beautiful and the material feels high quality, and overall, it didn’t disappoint in that sense. The fabric is soft, the colors are vibrant, and it feels well-made. However, the fit was a bit off for me. I’m usually a solid size S in swimsuits, but the size 2 felt noticeably bigger. It didn’t hug the legs the way I expected, and there was some extra fabric that made it feel a little floppy or loose. While it’s still wearable and looks good from a distance, I found myself adjusting it quite a bit to make it sit right. If you're in between sizes or prefer your swimsuits to fit snug and stay in place, especially for swimming or being active, I’d suggest going down a size. That said, if you're looking for a more relaxed, comfortable fit for lounging, it might still work well for you.
