Great retro gaming platform
Amazing gaming console with hundreds of games!!! My husband and I love playing the retro games that you can take anywhere. No WiFi needed. You can get an HDMI cord and play on flatscreen tv. We love discovering new games as well. Well worth the money!!!

Needs a little improvement
It does not com with midnight club. You have to start with a freshly formatted TF card to get the 2nd TF card to work. Make sure you put your files in the right folder. I can't get the Wifi to work, but it may need a specific game or dual player.

Fantastic pocket console
What you want to know: this is a fantastic little pocket console, and it does a wonderful job bringing your childhood favorites back to life. Comes preinstalled with a great variety of systems and games. The buttons are crisp and precise, the construction and hinge are tight and solidly made, and the screen is bright and clear. So far the battery life is great. My kids immediately wanted to grab it out of my hands, so that’s a good sign right there.

Still a bit small but an amazing bit of nostalgic fun
If you're in the generation(s) who played these games as a child, this handheld is an exciting opportunity both to easily replay these games and also introduce kids using a mechanism that's easier to control than traditional 'screen time'. Compared to the original controllers, the handheld feel has many of the same discomforts of trying to type out a text on your phone.- Buttons are pleasantly clicky, screen and sound offer a nice resolution- Wide selection of platforms including Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and N64 though the selection of popular games within each platform are lacking compared to other emulators (e.g. on N64 there was no 007, Donkey Kong or Mario)- Within the game processing speed seems okay but loading can be laggy**Moderate Concern** In the opening menu there's three categories - Handheld, Console, and essentially misc. In clicking around on misc and exploring what was available there is at least one program that appears to be maybe a Chinese email app. In itself not a problem but I can't change the language and can't seem to exit the program either. Depending on the number and nature of these programs, there seems to be a possibility of messing up or wiping this without meaning to. At a minimum it's a frustration, especially if this is going to kids who are going to learn by clicking at random

Perfect for GBA emulation (it can do other systems though)
Looks like a GBA SPSmells like a GBA SPPlays games like a GBA SPThis is what your mind thinks of when it is remembering the good times you had as a child with your GBA SP.The handfeel is amazing as is the build quality. The controls are amazing and pretty much an improvement on the original in that regard. The same can be said for the screen as well. It's a perfect 3x upscale and Anbernic has pre-programed retro arch to apply a nice LCD pixel filder to GBA games. The result is that GBA games look AMAZING!If you love GBA games and also solid game emulation from Atart 2600 to Sega Saturn, n64, Dreamcast and even some PSP.If you're thinking about this purchase, trust me when I say that it IS WORTH IT!.

Very cool!
This is a really hard item to review. It does exactly what it says it does. I didn't test the online multiplayer function but everything else works as expected. My son is SUPER excited about this because it has mirrors of ALL the games. The only thing he wanted that he couldn't find was Pokemon. I am not familiar with the operating system so it took a long time to get comfortable with the controls. Sometimes, it will tell you on the screen that a certain button will achieve a certain function (i.e. B for Back) but that button does not do what it says it does in that moment. My son, of course, figured it out much faster than I and the whole family has really enjoyed this console reliving and sharing old games and memories. My one recommendation, if you are interested in a console like this is, shop around a bit. This brand is great and they have several styles available. You should look for the handheld case you specifically prefer to hold.
