Used it for boating and sadly the pants ripped somehow in the front. I wasn’t doing anything rough, the only thing I can think of is small bushes on the bank must have grabbed at it. Pretty cheap material if that’s all it took, the bushes didn’t even have thorns. The jacket hasn’t ripped yet and it does work great at keeping the water off. I would’ve been more upset if I had actually paid full price for the outfit. At least I got to enjoy the pants for a few hours.

I was torn between a 4 and 5 star rating. The outfit itself is great for the price (inexpensive). I wanted it as a "provision" in the camping gear. I would have also used it for walking the dog as well but they run massive. I get they are intended to go over clothes but a small would fit the Michelin man with clothes on. I kept it for its original intent - it is a nice outfit. I can't complain about the quality for the price.... i in the end went with 4 because I do think even as a men's small meant to go over clothes.... its big. Now if its intended to be used by man with big fluffy snow pants and heavy winter coat on - its spot on! (why would you use rain gear for that?)

This is NOT a long term use product. I bought it to wear at Disney in case we get rain like last year. the suit is very light weight. I am 5'7 and 165lbs with a 36C chest( I am a woman) and the small fit perfectly. If I were to wear a thick sweater it might be too snug. I would maybe get a medium next time. The length of the pants was PERFECT and fell just where they wont drag on the ground. The waist of the pants fit, with room but wont fall off ( over jeans). The color is just MEH. I rather have had blue but the small was sold out in that color. When this arrived it had a small hole in the neck by the hood. I think it will be easy to rip, but I am not doing any hiking or white water rafting in it, just walking around Disney.

This lasted me one camping/fishing trip to Canada and I loved it. I had a guy insisting I needed to get expensive goretex stuff and that its the only way to go. And I'm like "no no, I have my own stuff" and he's like "Nawwwww you NEED goretex, we get WET, you don't get goretex you're gonna get soaked". This thing got a few holes very easily from some tree branches when I went on a small island to look for camping spots. These were small and didn't expand in my 5 day trip. It kept me dry while getting sprayed from the boat & lake, it kept smelly Northern slime, blood, and guts off my clothes. It packed light and it packed small. In the end I through it away, but for 15$ it MORE than paid for itself. For the occasional Fisher, who does not want to invest in full heavy gear, I would heartily recommend. 5/5
