EPSON 79 Claria Hi-Definition Ink Standard Capacity 3 Color Cartridge Combo Pack (T079920-S) Works with Artisan 1430, Stylus Photo 1400

I’ve tried the cheap 3rd party cartridge’s but always come back to original factory ink. Quality and color are so much better!

I have been loyal user of Epson printers since 1995. The ink quality is superb combined with Epson photo paper the result is simply astonishing. I am PRO photographer and time to time I print proof in my own Epson machines that rival side by side the PRO LAB that use high end machines. I never use other brand in my Epson machines. No cheap but reliable.

These arrived quickly and filled my printer ink need. It is a good value.

This is Epson's premier ink and it does make a difference when using the Claria Hi Definition ink. Price is the only problem; very expensive. However, if you want a professionally finished photo or brochure then the option is clear. I have tried the look alike only to be totally disappointed as the colors are not true and the ink usage is very high. You will not get the same number of pages out of a cartridge. I wasted a lot of time and money having to return defective cartridges. If you want the best you have to pay for it.

Great product

I tried to use less expensive after market ink for the 1400 printer and ran into clogged print head problems. After buying another product designed to clean clogged printer jets and clearing the clogged jets I decided to only use Epson ink in this printer sense the printer is so expensive to replace. It just makes since to me to bite the bullet and use only Epson products in a pretty expensive Epson printer. Do you want to take a chance on something that may not be repairable and will cost a couple thousand to replace so you can save 40 or 50 dollars. Quite frankly this experience scared me I thought I was going to have to buy a new large format printer because I was try to save money, that's not going to happen again

The reason this Epson SKU is not found on the Epson website is that this product is intended for RETAIL Sellers. The ink cartridges in this package is true 100% epson product all the way. And even when these cartridges are on sale at [...] the price of the multi-pack tends to be a way better deal. If you want a good deal on the relativly expensive cartridges for the 1400 this is the ONLY way to go. I am buying these and saving almost $5 off on the price of each cartridge from almost ANY other vendor. So if you want to believe someone who bad-mouths a product they did not even bother to try, go ahead. Just means more saving for me....

OEM prints great but pricey. I have tried other equivalent brands for my MFC-J985DW printer and none of them print color and photo's as well as the original. I bite the bullet (these are pricey) but I love the results.
