Easy install!
Install was straight forward for a shade tree mechanic. 45 minutes. So far, I love it!

F1 is a perfect fit on a 2013 F-150 SuperCrew
My chief concerns were security and weather resistance. The F1 does a good job on the first and an excellent job on the latter. The fit is very tight. I saw reviews indicating people had problems with the rubber edge flaps not laying flat. I've had no such problem. In fact, the wrinkles completely relaxed and laid perfectly flat after a day in the sun and about 75 degrees. No heavy rain since I did the installation, but I washed the truck and really hit it pretty good with a strong steam. There was slight leakage at the tail gate - but I have the tailgate step and the intrusion was at the seams for the step on the tailgate top. One other area was a trickle at the passenger wheel well where there is a fold point. This was where water puddled on the top of the cover for an extended period - part of my test - and the trickle was really very slight. No puddle in the bed, just a water line down the side of the bed. I am not concerned about leaving anything routine in the bed. Anything terribly water sensitive would not be in the bed long anyway, right? (Date of manufacture was less than 90 days before I got it. I suspect that may have been a factor in way the seals relaxed so quickly - it had not been folded long.)As for security, I'd rate it as moderately secure with a locking tailgate. You could get in with a pry bar if you wanted, perhaps a skilled slim jim or hanger could release the cable, but for most purposes, I would say it is fairly secure. And, hey, appearance counts too. In this regard, the F1 is awesome. It really completes the look of the truck. It is almost invisible from the side and looks great up close. Gloss, textured black is simple and sharp. It is a little heavyish to flip after the first panel. If you have lifted your truck or are a little shorter, I imagine the FiberMax might be an easier option. I don't mean to say it hard to flip, it isn't. But, something to think about if reach or use of two hands is an issue.Time will tell if the rubber holds up to the Colorado sun and low humidity. But, it really is a good product at a good price point to solve issue of how to cover your bed. If you are thinking fuel economy gain will pay for the cost as some sites advertise, I am seeing no appreciable change in fuel economy.I ordered from Amazon late on a Tuesday and it was here when I got home from work on Thursday. How great is that! And, it arrived in perfect condition. Well done Bak and Amazon!Update: After a few good rains, I am very impressed with the F1's weather resistance. We have has a couple of very good thunderstorms and the bed has remained dry. Absolutely ok to keep sporting goods in the bed. I would still be nervous about anything too sensitive to getting wet, but that may fade as my confidence in the F1's weather resistance improves. So far so good. I have no worries with golf bags, fertilizer, sand, etc., being left in the bed when it rains. Finally, I have seen advertisements claiming that fuel economy improves with the cover installed. I've got the Ecoboost engine and have seen zero change in fuel economy. While it would seem sensible to think that aerodynamics is improved, I am seeing no difference in fuel economy in city or highway driving.

Love this tonneau
I previously had a L**d tonneau, soft roll up, held down by velcro strips down the sides. I spent about $300-$400 for it. After the first year, and some shrinkage, it never really fit right. This one fits perfect. I love the multi points of cable release as you unfold the tonneau. Also, I no longer am required to stand at the back of the bed of the truck to pull on cables on both sides of the roll up tonneau to release the latches. I can stand on one side or the other of the tonneau and it releases both sides. Fold up is easy, however, with each fold you are not lifting more weight than the previous fold. By the time you are lifting the last fold it is a little awkward. I love the matte finish and looks very sleek overall on the bed of the truck. Much better than the roll up that sat about an inch above the level of the bed of the truck. Set up was ok, I took my time over about 90 minutes, distractions in-between, but if I had focused I am guessing I could have set the entire thing up in 20-30 minutes. There were a couple spots on instructions where they were not clear, however, the pics helped. One thing I wish they had provided were plugs to place in the holes at the front of the tonneau. I know they provide the tubes to help drain, however, my truck has a spray in bed liner, sealing the spots where you can pop out the plastic bed plugs and run your drain tube out. They recommend drilling a hole to place the end of the tube, but I would prefer to plug the holes of the tonneau and just let the rain or snow drain off on its own. I wasn't sure about the rubber seal around the edges as there were a couple points in which there were waives or bumps and it did not look like it was going to seal properly. They recommend getting out a blow dryer to heat up the rubber seal and it would eventually lay flat. They also recommended you could let is sit in the heat of the sun. I decided to do the latter. Within a few hours the rubber seal laid flat and smooth against the truck bed. Overall, I am very pleased with the product. Is it worth over $1000 you pay, that is up to you to decide. I don't believe it is. When I compare to others, roll up or hard flip tonneau, considering the latches and other aspects, I think it is more like a $650-$800 product, but no where near $1000.
