Plastic corners for file cabinets- you avoid getting scratched
These plastic corner for desk and file cabinet are excellent. I have scratched my arms and fingers several times. These really help prevent you from getting scratches from file cabinets.

Perfect
There perfect I put them up yesterday on the cabinet corners over the stove (keep hitting my head right on the corner). So far they haven't moved and saves me a head ache literally

Mostly Does the Job
I like the roundness of it and the corner guards are excellent. I wish I could find these exact corner guards by themselves because they are great. The stripping comes in a roll that goes counter to the way you're going to apply it, so the first step to applying it is trying to overcome the strong tendency to curl up in the opposite direction of what you want. I ended up having to use clamps to counteract the curve. You can see in the picture how the first one I did has never quite adhered properly because I didn't clamp it down right away on application. The issue could be solved easily if they just stored and shipped their product rolled up in the opposite direction. The ones that I clamped properly have stayed on pretty well over the last couple months. My daughter has bumped into them on many occasions and, while she doesn't like it, she at least has had no bruises or cuts from the edges of our many floating shelves (clearly was not planning on having a baby when we installed all the low, floating shelves haha).TL;DR - Works well if you use clamps to hold it on when first applying. Need more of the corner guards!

Problem with adhesive
The bumpers are the right size and shape to protect furniture corners. However, in order to attach the bumpers to the furniture, you have to peel back four paper strips that cover the adhesive. The problem is that the peeling the paper strips also removes most of the adhesive from the inside edges of the bumpers, which reduces the adhesion of the bumper to the furniture.

Bumpers ok — adhesive not very good.
I liked these at first. But after a few weeks I found one of them drifting from being fullly attached to the corner. Then another one started shifting. One of the ones I put on the underside starting drooping under its own weight. Yesterday morning I found it on the floor. On the plus side, I found that the adhesive residue they leave behind cleans up very easily and thoroughly by just rubbing it, like rubber cement. I've now reapplied a couple of corners with "slime" rubber cement and I suppose I'll see what happens. I would not buy these again or recommend them. Next time I will look for something that indicates it uses a "3M" adhesive, which are usually excellent and removable. But the adhesive on these just isn't up to it.
