Great Little Device

Have had the Inrico T320 a few days and it is fast becoming my favorite little device for QSOs on Zello, Peanut, and EchoLink. I have gotten really good feedback on the audio quality and the device has been really easy to work around. The only issue I came across was that the PTT would activate Zello every time I pressed it using other apps (Peanut and Echolink). I bought button mapper at the suggestion of some who were trying to resolve this issue, but I actually wasted my time as it did not fix the problem with this model. What I did to finally resolve the issue, should anyone else run into this same problem, is that I went into the Zello app and removed the PTT button in the app with the "remove button" option, then re-added it as (F12). This resolved the issue and the PTT works perfectly with the other apps now. Oh yes, you also have to uncheck the "handle button in the background when possible" in the "push-to-talk buttons" option in the Zello software. I use the T320 with wifi and haven't had one issue with it. I have not ventured to use it with a sim card, as I have a wifi jetpack that I use for my hotspots when I'm mobile. I use my home wifi when I'm there and my office wifi when at work, so I don't feel the need to use a sim card at this time. The radio came as promised, the next day, from the seller FlyingN. I would definitely recommend this network radio to anyone interested in getting started using these types of devices.

It's not bad, also not amazing

Pros: PTT works will with supported applications (while the screen is on). Works best with Zello. Aduio is loud. Call quality is good. GSM reception is much better than my last phone with the external antennae.Cons: The volume knob is not analog, so you have to have the screen on and the correct audio profile active to adjust the volume properly. The PTT button only wakes the phone for Zello, I use Plumble/Mumble and other applications, but not Zello. While the screen is livably small, the resolution is poor making text difficult to read and write with the on-screen keyboard.Notes: The phone does not appear to come with software for reprogramming buttons, making this difficult for someone new to network radio or radio in general. To make this device more usable I installed a new launcher and Button Mapper. I mapped one of the side buttons to be "Home" and the long press of it to be "Recents."

The radio works quite well. I am using it daily.

I am using the T320 with a number of PTT applications including, EchoLink, TeamSpeak3, DVswitch Mobile and I have tried to use Zello. Zello has caused issues with the app starting everytime I press the PTT even though the program is closed. I understand there is a solution to this but I have not tried it yet.I mostly use the radio with DVswitch Mobile which give me access to my AllStarLink node and through a software bridge it gives me access to the Digital Voice modes. The app is easily configured to work with the T320 which make the radio very useful to me.I am seeing a problem connecting via Wi-Fi to a few access points. I can use my Android phone as a hotspot without a problem but I can not connect to a Unifi hotspot or my Verizon MiFi. I was able to build a hotspot on a Raspberry Pi and it works quite well. All in all, I really like the radio and have recommended it to my friends.

Worked great and then it didn't

This worked great and then after about 8 months, it simply would not take updates and it stopped working. Ended up just throwing it away.

Great device!

I just purchased one of these and I am very happy with it. I am using it with a T-Mobile Pre-Paid data card and it works perfectly. It works as intended. It feels more natural to use this with a ptt app than a standard smartphone.

Not compatable with Consumer Cellular ~~

Will NOT work with Consumer Cellular telephone/network service. The screen is cumbersome and Very difficult to See and navigate. The print is Extremely small so you better have 20/20-PLUS vision. The unit works fine on WIFI but that is about the Only thing I like about this unit !!!Buyer BEWARE !!!

Good network radio !

Using wifi only thus far, this network radio works well. As with many less expensive network radios, the screen will not be as good as your cell phone if you have a good cell phone but the speaker audio will be better or as good as your cell phone and the mic audio is excellent.Good battery life, does blue tooth audio well, PTT works on Zello, Ecolink and on IRN, however you do have to disable the app labeled PTTop and turn the PTT off on Zello when using IRN. Minor work arounds. I can comfortably reccomendthis radio and seller, Empire Wireless was responsive to questions and willing to help out in any way.

Requires wifi or a data sim. More of a smartphone than a walkie talkie.

Locking up while idle. Costs $99USD to update firmware
