This is a quality fish kill bag. Don't waste your money on the cheap ones, you won't get your money worth out of them and you'll just be disappointed with how they hold ice. You'll realise like I did, just spend a little more money on quality and hold ice all day. What makes the difference between this bag and your typical cheap yak kill bags is the liner. It's thick, similar to a soft Yeti cooler inside, to keep it water tight, easy to clean, and most importantly keep your fish chilled. I usually put one 10lb bag of ice in it and it will keep all day on the yak (6-8 hours).

If you kayak fish for the biggies - halibut, yellowtail, rockfish, etc. this is the catch bag! I've admired it for a while but never had the $$ to make the purchase. Took the leap and so glad I did. Reliable is high quality craftsmanship and this bag is designed for the paddling kayak angler IMO. I hunt halibut in an Ocean Kayak Trident 15' This bag has D-rings that I just clip with SS snaps along the bow of the yak. The over sized zipper is facing me so once I catch my prize I can "scootch" forward and slip it nose-first into the bag with ice (and my lunch) already chillin' inside. I’ve had this fish bag for a couple of years. It fits on the back of my kayak and I’ve put Ling cod, halibut, salmon etc in it. It keeps ice even in hot sun. It washes well and does not smell. When I was living on boat and turned my fridge into a fish freezer, I would use this bag as a backup fridge. Zipper is solid. I prefer this to my igloo bag where zipper fell apart.It seems impervious to sun damage.I’m in a commercial fishing area and lots of charter boats too and they mostly use this brand.People say it leaks. Yes it does. If I have fish I don’t put it in a vehicle without a tarp or something, but if it’s flat and zipper is on top it won’t leak. It’s actually convenient to get rid of melted ice water you can tip it and drain.If you have an issue with that I would recommend the style where the zipper is up high.Anyway, one of my favorite things, this gig bag.

I am In love with this product!! So worth the money!!!! Made really strong. Had something like it in the past and the fish rip up the inside. But not this one!! Built with the best materials so strong. This is heavy duty and I would tell every fisherman to buy one!!! I would give the 6 stars if I could. Nothing bad to say about it and I guess if I had to say 1 bad thing it would be it comes rolled up a little bit so it’s all wrinkled. But just wait an hour and it will be perfect 🤙🏻

I love the bag. It holds a ton of big fish. Perfect for riding on the front of my kayak. I catch big reds, lots of trout, flounder, and more. Usually put 20 lbs of ice in the bag, and I will still have 10 lbs that isn't melted at the end of the day. One of the ratings was for "leak proof", I gave 3 stars for that. It won't leak, but it will simply pour water out of the zipper when moving it. As long as it's sitting level, nothing is leaking out. It's easy to clean. I simply rinse my real well after each trip. Doesn't seem to hold a fishy smell in the material at all, what so ever.I can slip big fat redfish, sheepshead, trout, flounder into the bag all day long. Haven't run out of room yet. If you're planning on catching something REALLY big it won't fit, but slot reds are the bigger fish on my list and they fit no problem. I can fit two big slot reds, five or six trout, and some flounder with lots of room to spare. Looks nice, cleans up pretty easy. Has the added benefit of having bungees on top, which is great for kayaking. This means I can slip my net under the bungees, or even use it as a paddle park if I want to.It has six D rings on the bottom sides of the bag. I put six pad eyes on my kayak, and clip it to the front with tiny carabiners. One pic shows it mounted on the kayak ready for launch. I don't fish without this bag. No more stringers for me.

Little disappointed with this almost $200.00 cooler.It is built well like almost all of reliable's gear.Love the low profile Butand that it can fit 5 to 6 king salmon in it.But this cooler isnt very insulated. It holds ice ok and cools the fish down ok. 15lbs of ice will melt in about 6 hours.It's insulation quality's are poor at best. It leaks like mad and is very awkward to cary. You pick it up and fishy stinky ice water will for sure leak on you!I would rate it a 4.5 on a scale of one to ten; Ten being the best.
