My grandmother immigrated to the US from Hungary so I grew up with quality Hungarian paprika in the house. I regularly buy all varieties of this paprika because it brings back the nostalgia of grandma cooking goulash or paprikash and the quality is unrivaled. Sure it may be a bit more expensive, but you are getting what you pay for here, and overall it is an amazing value for the quality. The paprika is bright, bold and extremely flavorful. The smoked smells like heaven and the hot is very effective at providing a good kick when desired. Warning, once you buy it, you will probably be hooked.

This Premium Sweet Hungarian Paprika Powder is absolutely fantastic. The color is vibrant, the aroma is rich, and the flavor is smooth and slightly sweet without any bitterness. You can really tell this is high-quality paprika—nothing like the dull, dusty stuff from the grocery store. I’ve been using it on roasted vegetables, chicken, eggs, and especially in simple recipes where the paprika really shines. One of my favorites is Hungarian Paprika Butter, and this paprika makes it incredible. Quick Hungarian Paprika Butter Recipe: • 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened • 1–1½ teaspoons Premium Sweet Hungarian Paprika • ½ teaspoon salt (to taste) • Optional: pinch of garlic powder or squeeze of lemon Mix everything together until smooth. Chill slightly and serve on warm bread, steak, grilled chicken, potatoes, or vegetables. Simple, rich, and full of authentic flavor.

It is very tasty paprika. The smokiness comes through without being "hot". I always look for paprika that is from Szeged in Hungary -- it's the best quality, and a fine red color. I appreciate the zip lock bag. That will keep it fresh until I can transfer it to a shaker jar.

Nothing like the taste of real paprika. The stuff you get off the shelf in the store looks kinda like real, smoked paprika but lacks in flavor. Not this stuff!! This has a rich, Smokey flavor and a vibrant color. Very nice spice and the price was reasonable.

Perfect for the Hungarian beef and onion goulash I was making. Recipe called for 4 tablespoons, so it was really RED! But it tasted great! I’ll order it again.
