Better than Expected
I purchased this catio as an addition to an existing catio that I built four years ago. Our four adult cats had outgrown the original and we wanted to give them more room to stretch out and the novelty of something new to explore would help to stimulate them for this summer at least. The catio arrived ready to assemble and each piece was well made, the directions were easy to understand and the quality of the product was surprisingly superior to what I had expected. We did screen each panel as an aid to lessen the number of insects that could invade the catio. From start to finish, and that included stapling screen on every single piece, was about four hours and that included a lunch break and clean-up. We customized the end that is attached to the original catio so the cats could enter safely. As a side note, we have customized covers out of heavy gauge clear plastic for each catio to keep out heavy rain, allow them to still see out and allow light in and to help keep the chill out when the weather turns colder. Overall, I am pleased with everything about this catio, including the price.

A Mini Catio
This cage is easy to assemble for the not so mechanically enclined. Very spacious. My only issue was some slight wobbly effect to the roof corners but only with physical manipulation, sturdy with wind and rambunctious cats.

Would buy again
My cat absolutely loves this. It was easy to put together and has held up all summer.

Assembly time and amount of pieces.
Product was misrepresented. It stated that there was a 20 minute assembly time. When it was received I had to staple the wire mesh onto the wood after assembling the Woods framework. Then assemble the hinges and other support Total assembly time was over 3 hours and required 2 people to assemble parts. If I’ve known all those work was involved I would’ve spent a little more money and got one that had more preassembled pieces like others purchased in the past.

It was tedious to put together, but it functions just the way I intended. I am very pleased with this purchase!!

Don't leave outside
We got this for a outdoor enclosure for a small monitor lizard. The monitor enjoyed the platforms for sunning but the roof started to cave within a couple months. I don't anticipate it making it through the winter so we can put our lizard back out next summer. We will likely have to replace the roof. Also the lock is really flimsy, so we used heavy potted plants to keep him from pushing the doors open. I don't think a cat would be secure in this either.

Not worth $170
The media could not be loaded. I will say it’s cute, and it will do for what I’m using it for, but my main complaint is how flimsy and cheap it is for what you pay. One good wind storm and I’ll be shocked if it survives. It was tedious to put together, things in the manual compared to some of the things that were labeled was incorrect and more time consuming than assumed. I could see paying $70 but $170? No way.

Here Kitty
I ordered this cat house after reading many reviews of different houses. It is not very sturdy looking—my son has not been available to help me assemble it yet—but I plan to reenforce the wooden sections with additional lumber. Overall, the price was right and I am pleased w my purchase.
