Kiniki Women's Tan Through Bikini Brief Swimwear (5th Generation)

I LOVE this bathing suit! It is a little see-through, but the pattern seems to hide important areas to hide (even though it shows my nipple rings). I wouldn't wear it around kids, just in case, but it's fine to wear with friends. I've asked a few people if they can see through it and they said not unless they're looking for it, so it's not obvious. It does tan through just a little bit, but don't expect the same results as laying out naked, however, it does help blend in the areas that don't typically get sun. I have seen reviews that say that they're disappointed that it doesn't entirely tan you, but you're still putting fabric on your body, so it's expected for it not to tan all the way.The edges and straps are folded over fabric... just like any other piece of clothing, so yes, expect tan lines from the straps. Again, you're putting fabric on your body and since the straps are doubled over fabric, they shouldn't even be expected to tan through. I try to get around that by just moving the straps around when you're wearing the bathing suit so the straps hid different areas to try to blend in those areas that are normally covered.I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a larger size with those posting similar body sizes that I am similar to. I'm 5'2" and 135 lbs.

The fit is a little strange, but not a deal breaker. I had to cut the liner out as it because scratchy after suit got wet then dried, again not a big deal, it just annoyed me. You should know, it is not 100% tan through, I do have a line.

Not actually tan through. They’re cute but not worth it if you’re looking for the tan through quality

I have not got to test the tan through feature but once due to being busy, the day I laid out it was cloudy I plan on using more soon.I will say i normally wear size 2-4 in jeans and i knew from reviews to size up and i got a 10, its snug I could have went up another size

These fit great and I love the design. They look like they would be super see through but once on they really aren’t. It is a very thin material so it feels like it breathes well and feels good. Does NOT stop tan lines though as promised. The video is from my first day on the sun since last summer.

Shipping only took about a week to the US, so maybe they have improved on that. Amazon originally said it would be a month.No, it's not completely effective at allowing sunlight through the material, nor completely effective at hiding what's underneath. It is reasonably good at both.
