Great stuff
I was introduced to mix & fill by the guy who sanded down the floorboards in my last house. It's great stuff but you do need to use it properly. The gap you are filling needs to be clean and solid. If you have a raggy edge of a board which is full of dust, it's going to come straight out.Use sawdust that's from the wood you are filling if at all possible so you can get a colour match. Fine dust is best.Only use a small bit at a time. This depends on what you are filling. I've filled a hole where a Yale lock had previously been and of course, there was some shrinkage. I needed to do it in two parts. Generally, I find mixing maybe around 5 cubic centimetres at a time works well.Note also it does not keep. If you put a mix in a pot and put a lid on, it will go mouldy in a day or two.Like all fillers, put in a little bit too much so you can sand it down, but do not overdo it, unless you really like sanding. You also need to get the consistency right; if it's too sloppy it will shrink. The consistency should be more like Plasticine than toothpaste - you generally should be pressing it in, but at the same time it needs to be able to fill gaps so needs to be liquid to some degree. You need to use your judgement and be patient. If it's not staying in, do it again.

I wish I'd found this 20yrs ago
I wish I'd found this 20yrs ago when I was fitting and finishing high end wooden floors This is a fantastic filler. Even when it is oiled over it still blends in with the floor. The only reason I didn't give it 5stars was because it shrank ever so slightly. That said it was really easy to top up and because it drys so quickly means you can get the job done. I highly recommend this.

Parquet floor filler
Worked very well as a filler for parquet, when mixed with fine sanding dust from the final sand.Made it look excellent, for a 60 year old floor.Only mix as much as you can work with, as I found it dries quickly if you can't work quickly.

Not fit for purpose
Mixes and applies very well, but sags/shrinks/cracks. Takes far longer to go off that stated, Just pulls out of smaller cracks and no use at all for larger cracks due to shrink/sag.I have returned this for refund.

OK but only for narrow gaps (as advertised)
Ended up buying two of these. First mix was a disaster, because my heap of sawdust was too big and so I mixed the entire bottle into it and it was too stiff to be usable. Little guidance on how much sawdust to use. Just be careful and use a little first and add more as needed. Second bottle, once it arrived, went better. Made a sloppy mix and pushed it into the floor with a plastic blade. Found it quite difficult to push into the gaps but did manage to get it in with effort. However now (3rd day after application) I find that gaps wider than about 2-3mm are still wet and have cracked up quite a bit. The filler has also sunk in places. See photos. The narrower gaps have dried OK although still quite a bit of cracking. I guess it’s better than with no filler and will probably look OK once finished, but I think it could be better. Will have to do final sanding and wax with the wider gaps still wet. I would probably go for an epoxy style filler given a second chance, but bought this as it was recommended on Howtosandafloor.com.
