Very comfortable, roomy for toes.
I tried on 6 pairs of similar closed toe sandals, looking for a comfortable walking/easy hiking sandal, with the extra protection of a closed toe. I got size 7 in each of the following: Keen Whisper, Keen Newport H2, Teva Walhalla, Teva Omnium, Dannto, and this DreamPair. I really expected to like the more expensive shoes, but I chose the Dream Pair for the following reasons: Easy to put on and take off with the back velcro strap. Nice and roomy for my toes. Back strap does not catch/irritate my ankle bones. If I had any concerns it was with the inside sole which felt a little rough on my soft feet after a winter in socks. I have since worn them several times, and one full day, and am thrilled to say that the sole did not irritate at all. Here are my findings on the other closed toe sandals:Keen Whisper: Difficult to put on with fixed back strap, needing 'finger work'. The back strap touched my outside ankle bone (end of the fibula bone) but was otherwise comfortable. The stippled inside of the sole did not irritate my foot. This shoe is more 'open' and therefore probably cooler than the other shoes I tried. I think this pair was the most attractive of the 6 pairs. Keen Newport H2: I had high hopes for this pair of shoes since it seems to be the standard to which all others are compared. Once again the negative for me was the difficulty in putting them on. They are a much snugger fit than the others, possibly better if climbing over rocks, but I preferred the roomier feel of the DreamPairs. The back strap, like the Whisper, touched my outside ankle bone. The arch support was very obvious. I also found the Newports 'clunky', that is, after putting down my heel, the front of the shoe would 'slap' down - noisy. The Teva Walhallas were easier than the Keens and the Teva Omnium to put on, but didn't have the ease of the velcro strap on the Dream Pairs. Very squeaky walking across Pergo and tile floors, but maybe that's indicative of good grip? They did not irritate my ankle bones. The inside sole was smooth except for a TEVA logo under the heel. This irritated my left foot, leaving an imprint of the logo, but strangely enough did not worry my right foot. The Teva Omnium had a very nice adjustable strap over the top of the foot, and a high instep. I found the inside sole rough on my foot. Although easier to get on than the Keens, it still required 'the finger'! The Dannto had a velcro back strap making it easy to put on and take off, but I found the insole/instep a little high for me. Otherwise it was comfortable, did not touch the ankle bones. Hope this helps you find a comfortable pair of closed toe sandals. I returned all five of the other pairs after my in house trial.

So comfortable
I have been trying to find a good shoe for tide-pooling and traipsing around in the ocean on slippery rocks. I have purchased and returned a number of them as they fall short. I LOVE these shoes! First: they are comfortable right out of the box, and I say this as someone with footpain due to neuropathy. My feet are super sensitive both to material and how hard or soft a footbed is on a shoe. Secondly, the ability to fit the shoe to your foot specifically. The back has a velcro strap that you can adjust to your liking, which is a fairly common feature in these types of shoes. What I LOVE is the cris across elastic ties that run the length of the shoe allowing you to adjust the compression width of the shoe from the balls of your feet up along the top of your foot. This is great as we all have different-shaped feet, even people with the same size. This makes them secure while jumping around on uneven surfaces yet not too tight I dare say perfect.

Made the right choice!
I didn't want to spend a ton on hiking sandals so I gave these a go. Wore them on a 7 mile hike with several water crossings. I don't think a more expensive shoe would have been any better. They were kcomfortable, and didn't hurt my feet at any point. I was also pleased that they did not get "sloshy" once they were wet. They felt a little wide on my medium width feet but were easily tighted up. Otherwise they are true to size.

Very comfy and great looking
These sandals look great and with the adjustable laces and the velcro ankle strap they fit great too. They feel good when I'm on my feet all day work. And they are go through the wet yard just fine when it's raining. Then they dry off and look as good as they did before! As a matter of fact, I like these so well that I got another pair of the same brand in a different style so I could have an option to go with whatever I'm wearing. I am just as happy with that pair and also wrote them a good review.

Tested at D!sney parks
Cool, comfortable AND stylish. Spent 7 days, all day, at the theme parks in Florida,USA. These shoes were seriously abused and soaked in rain for hours. They easily wiped clean and dried quickly. They still look and feel brand new even after all of that. I wore women's sandal socks with them (makes short legs look longer lol) which made them extra comfy without seeing that you are wearing socks at all. (A Gen X tip) Overall, this is a great product to invest in. Let's go!!

Not a Keen's replacement but okay
These are no Keens, but they are okay. I bought then because of the numerous positive reviews, and a new pair of Keens was not really in my budget. The footbed extends beyond the straps, which is a little weird but not a big deal. The color is nice, and the styling is Keen-inspired, but the comfort and support levels are not even close. Of course, I was not expecting them to match, but I was hoping they would be better than they are. One detail I love is the velcro heel strap, but the overall quality difference was noticeable once I stepped outside and started walking in them. I have narrow feet, which has never been a problem with Keens, but these I had to tighten them so much that my heel actually hangs over the edge just a tad. They will be fine to wear in my yard, run errands in, drive in, or run to a neighbor's, but I would never wear them for a hike, long walk, or water adventure. If I could return them, I would, as I wanted to be able to wear them regularly for long walks and hiking. Now, they are probably a better fit for a person with a wider foot, and, perhaps, that is my problem with them. I did read comments that others with narrow feet thought they were great, so, perhaps, my feet are just weird.

Love them
I bought these sandals for walking. I usually do a 30 min walk. I wondered how sore my feet would be after the first time walking in them, as most shoes/sandals need breaking in. These were comfortable right from the first walk. No breaking in necessary. They are light, airy and comfortable for walking and good value for the money. Would purchase again or recommend to others.

Comfy and value for money
Was looking for a closed toe sandal, and found some of the more expensive ones like KEEN to be uncomfortable. This has a cushioned sole and quick dry from getting wet. Got these for my trip to costs rica and wore every day.

Molto comode
