Is the 19 good on the water preferably the ocean?

We asked the Manufacturer and they replied: "This product is rated as water resistant however it is not waterproof. Use on the deck of a boat or ship would be appropriate."

Is the battery replaceable? Hoping it is an 18650. Don’t want a bricked device if battery dies.

Can you locate a squirrel in a tree during day light hours?

Yes. I can spot a mouse in the lawn at over 50 yards . It locates heat. Mid day in sunshine during the summer a squirrel and a tree may be the same temp. So they will stick out more in spring, fall , winter .evening night and morning.
