I've tried a wide variety of aluminum-free deodorants over the last year and have found that the typical big name brands tend to stay sort of wet or sticky after application, leaving me never feeling very dry. This solid deodorant goes on dry and actually seems to do a pretty good job of absorbing some sweat throughout the day. Since it is a deodorant, and not an antiperspirant, that's a benefit I haven't found in many aluminum-free deodorants. It also seems to be very moisturizing and skin softening without any stinging after shaving... also a nice benefit. I like both scents, and have enjoyed switching depending on my mood. The Pink Beach seems to be my daytime go to with a beachy-type scent. Santal Bloom has become more of my date night go to. Both are pleasant and light - meaning they won't double as a perfume or body spray if that is what you are searching for. I've also noticed that I haven't needed to reapply midday, like I have for many others. Overall, I really like this deodorant and look forward to trying out their other scents.

This used to be sold at Target, but Target got rid of this product, which is a shame because this is the best deodorant I have ever used. I switched to non-toxic deodorant several years ago, but none of them ever. really worked. I was using Native- which smells nice - but it just wasn’t that effective. I tried this one last year, and I haven’t used anything else. The smell is very mild, but it’s really nice, and it’s one of my favorite scents. There’s no residue, and I have not had any issues with it rubbing off on my clothing. I won’t say you’ll never sweat after applying, but it’s not an anti-perspirant, and those products are so toxic, I’m fine with this. I don’t sweat heavily using this product, and I don’t smell bad, so it checks all the boxes. I hope this product is never discontinued, because it’s fantastic.

I’ve been using aluminum free deodorant for over 10 years and so far this is one of my favorite aluminum free deodorant. I love the scent both this one and the Santal fragrance and I have purchased several times. Absolutely recommend.

So I had seen ads on social media for the Saltair liquid deodorant. I saw it in a random store one day and decided to buy it … I was the best deodorant I have ever had! So when I ran out, I ran straight to Amazon to buy more. I saw the solid stick and thought “even better!” because I don’t really like liquid deodorants… not thrilled that I was forced to buy it in a 2 pack. Not thrilled at the price… but I knew I loved it, so I did it. I’ll say it: the STICK DOES NOT WORK AS WELL AS THE LIQUID…. With the liquid, the scent lasted way longer on me, eliminated more odor in my opinion, and I even noticed my armpits lightening (I think it has like BHA or AHA acid or something in it? Some letter combo). So while I didn’t hate the stick deodorant, I didn’t love it as much as the liquid. ALSO: went through them SO QUICK, like they lasted half the time of any other deodorant I’ve tried. I’m also the kind of person who likes to use every last drop of the product. It’s ASTONISHING how much product was in the holding cast at the bottom. Like you can’t use the stick anymore when you reach the end because the plastic scrapes your underarms. So I scraped what I could out of the container, carefully melted it down, and got like an extra 2 weeks between the 2 tubes. Most people would just toss it at the end, but that was a LOT of product that goes to waste. I even took to ChatGPT to ask if I was crazy for noticing such a drastic difference in the liquid versus the stick. It said no, it’s common. There are components of the liquid (like the acid or whatever) that just can’t be contained in the solid stick version. Were they bad? No, they were fine. Did the job just as any regular deodorant would. Nice scent, easy/smooth application… But they weren’t outstanding, which is what I was expecting. Especially at that price point. So while I love Soltair, I wouldn’t buy the stick deodorants again. I did, however, go back and buy the liquid again. Once again forced to buy in a 2 pack, which I don’t love, but it’s whatever. And the pink cap (to me) is more my style of smell than the tan cap. I would have rather it be the SAME 2 scents in a pack, if you’re going to force me to get 2?!? The tan one is just a bit more mildly scented, but both are definitely “feminine” scents. Kind of “out in nature/at the beach” type scents … sorry I don’t know how to describe a smell very well? Anyways, HIGHLY recommend the liquid. The stick form, not so much.

I was very excited (as much as one can be about a deodorant) to try the Saltair Seascape Skincare Deodorant. I love that it comes as a two-pack and can be snagged at a good price. I am disappointed that Saltair has decided to discontinue this scent in this format, as it was my favorite out of the bunch and am really happy I purchased it before it was too late. I have been using it for about a week now, and so far, so good. I love the smell - it is nice and fresh and imo, gender neutral, making it a viable option for men and women. It is easy to apply and glides on well. The texture is kind of a mix between solid and soft solid but it is solid. It feels kinda moisturizing. I have been interested in trying a "natural" deodorant, but was not sure how well it would work for a sweaty gal like myself, but I have been really pleased with the results thus far. I feel like it does a good job with odor control - they say up to 24 hrs, but that's kind of wild - and I find it to last during the day. I have not had any issues with white marks or rub off on my clothes. I like the size, shape, and style of the packaging - it's my first round deodorant lol (it's the little things in life). The one thing I don't necessarily like is that there is a very small gap between the product and case - may be due to application style/method but "loose" product fills it in as you apply and can get around the edge, so I do try to clean it up a little bit. I like the idea of the refillable packaging --- one recommendation would be to add or change the two-pack to include one "full" deo and one "refill" deo, but I don't mind the two as is. I have heard that the ingredients help reduce/mitigate ingrown hairs and razor burn, and can help lighten dark spots. Can't say I have used it long enough to see brightening effects, but tend to believe it helps prevent ingrown hairs and irritation.
