I'm sure it would! Everything in the box is individually wrapped. The cardboard is just for shipping, so as long as that stays dry, you're good. You could even take everything out and put in a gift basket if your thinking of giving as a gift :)

I think there was about 30. I don't remember exactly. The item pictures in the listing were pretty spot on with what we received. Sorry I dont have exact count. Should be in the description somewhere!
