From china? what the "h" does it mean that they are "heavy duty" how does that pertain to withstanding hard wear, bad weather?

The long stem itself is very heavy duty. When lit, it stays longer and burns like a fireplace log. Great for whatever is needed. My box of matches has lasted longer because I can walk thru the house lighting all my candles, etc with the one stem (5). Good Luck

Is there a holder for these matches ?

The only holder is the container they come in, which has a strike pad on it.
