Plants arrived green and healthy, although a little smaller than I expected. However, I planted according to instructions and the plants doubled in size within 4 weeks. They continue to spread, with new leaves, and look exactly like the photo in the item description. Very pleased.

It was tiny and dried up. I was too busy to deal with it but I won’t order any more plants from Amazon. That is a total of 3 dried up Hostas I was sent.

This plant, started from bare root is growing beautifully. If you're not experienced with bare root plants, be sure to read up on them. You're not getting a mature plant, but a starter root. Just get them in the ground or a pot asap after you get them. (I always soak them in water for 30-45 minutes before planting them to fully re-hydrate them.) Depending on the variety, it could take a few years for them to completely mature, but this plant is definitely growing quite nicely.

When the plant came, the 'bud' of the plant was about an inch long. I thought that was crazy for the price I'd paid. I contacted Holland Bulb Farms who said they would accept a return but they felt the price was justified and that was that. The hosta did grow - it now has 7 leaves - but I am still not a happy customer. But they run their business the way they see fit.

I just love hostas ! the leaves are so beautiful and set with ferns and astilbes the combinations is just beautiful. Put a couple of coralbells and you have a beautiful shade garden!

Paid way more than established plants from local growers. The plant has not grown significantly. Would not buy again
