I am usually busy working in the yard, cleaning or doing crafts and so keep my nails un-polished and cut short. As I finish my 6th decade, my nails have chronic splits, some have ridges and I need to work on nail and cuticle health as a priority. I ordered an attractive brush bottle of Olive & June Nail Strengthener. The website says that using prevents peeling & ridges, strengthens, heals and conditions weak, brittle nails, resulting in up to 77% increase in strength. The formula contains celery seed extract that helps condition the nail surface and helps prevent peeling, while reducing white spots and smoothing the ridges for a healthier-looking nail. The Olive and June Nail Strengthener comes in a heavy glass brush bottle, that makes it easy to hold and apply, has no odor, and immediately helps make my weak, brittle, peeling nails feel stronger. There are several ways that I can use this nail strengthener. It is most commonly used as a nail primer. But, because I do not normally wear polish, I apply to my bare nails weekly in place of Nail Primer. For an intensive boost, I apply daily to my bare nails until my nail strength improves. It dries quickly and is my defense against chips, chronic splits, and weakness in my nails. This is a quality nail strengther and I am very pleased with Olive and June brand of nail strengthener and recommend highly with 5 stars.

My nails are a mess and can use all the help they can get. I don't always wear polish, but I do like using something that protects them and gives them a little more finished look. This Nail Strengthener from Olive & June goes on thin and dries to a satin finish, not a high gloss shine, so my nails still look fairly natural. Even though it contains plant based ingredients, it still has a fairly strong odor to it, so I recommend applying it in a well ventilated area.I’ve only been using it for a few weeks, but I’m already noticing an improvement in the ridges and white spots that started showing up on my nails over the past couple of years. The price is on point with other similar products I've used, so overall I feel it’s a really good value and a super simple way to help improve the health and appearance of your nails.

This is a first impression review of the Olive & June Nail Strengthener. First, the bottle is very solid and satisfying when you hold it. Although the brush is very skinny, it does a great job applying product. I didn't really notice the smell until I put my nail to my nose and sniffed. It dries matte, and quickly. You can apply weekly under color, or daily without a top coat. I will continue to use it as I have high hopes that it will strengthen my nails. I will update this rating if necessary.

Love the container. I like it a lot better than traditional polish tyle styles. The lid feels secure and the applicator is smooth. I've not really used a strengthener before, so initially i was surprised how thin it was and how fast it dried. I do pedicures, but the hand polish I do myself, only some of the time. I tend to my lose my nails doing busy work, and I don't like stripping them off when the color peels. This is a great alternative, and so easy to do as a routine.
