Great flavor

This coffee was shipped fast and the quality was excellent. The flavor is very fresh and smooth. I definitely recommend this coffee!

In general, I'm not a Starbuck's fan but I like this Decaf a lot. I had to stop drinking regualr coffee so started searching for a Decaf that tasted like real coffee. I was pleasantly surprised when I found this one the best. The price is pretty good on Amazon.

Tasty but lessee-known brands just as good for less. Value for money not there unless promotions. Fresh.

I love this product

Sadly, after 45 years, caffeine had to go. I've tried quite a few different decaf's and so far this is not only the best tasting that I have found but also the best value. I bought 6 - 12 oz. bags for $29.62, or about 41 cents per ounce. You will find a few less expensive and plenty that are more expensive. The difference in flavor comes from, in my opinion, the process used to decaffeinate the beans. Turns out that extracting caffeine from coffee beans is quite difficult and time consuming. The result is a higher price product that often does not taste as good as "real" coffee. Swiss Water Process sounds wholesome and wonderful but it extracts flavors from beans that can't be put back in. This Starbucks decaf is made with the direct method, which uses methyl chloride to extract the caffeine. Yes, that sounds industrial and artificial but it's actually very clean and efficient. The process results in fewer flavor losses. There is another extraction method called the CO2 process, which is supposed to be even better. Have yet to try coffee decaffeinated this way. It is almost twice the price of this Starbucks House blend. Your mileage may vary but I like this just fine.

I have been sensitive to caffeine and tried other decaf brands and they usually are watery or do not taste like real coffee. This one tastes so good. I even put milk in mine and love it. You cannot tell that it is decaf by how good it tastes and smells. Will buy again!

Excellent coffee for those who need decaf but want a nice rich medium roast flavor. We’ve been ordering this for years and it’s always perfect.
