way back in 1984/85 i discovered the most wonderful snacks, well two different brands really, there were the new wheat crunches which we can still get today, although i am certain there was a spicy tomatoe flavour which is no longer available and the snack tastic Nik Naks. Nik Naks were available in both scampi and lemon (still available) and cheese flavour and they were the tastiest snack of all time. Lord knows why but they discontinued the cheese flavour and I have craved the taste from way back as a 12 year old. I have searched Amazon looking for the next best thing and now at 49 years of age i am transported back in time and its heaven. Granted they are not as cheesey but they are the next best thing. Thank you Amazon and if anyone knows if any other snacks come close to the original cheese nik naks please let me know x

Fresh!

I'm willing to bet that many UK purchasers of this snack are hoping they're like crunchy Cheetos or Hawkins Cheezies from USA and Canada. While this product captures the crunch of those North American snacks, the flavour is much more muted. No tang. No fluorescent orange residue left on finger. While I realise that European food standards are probably healthier for us than North American standards, I miss their Cheetos. And these, unfortunately, are a pale imitation. If you're not comparing snacks from across the pond, then you may well appreciate these for what they are. Very similar to cheesey crunchy Wotsits.

But too expensive

These remind me of the cheesy niknaks that got discontinued and I really wished they bring them back, but I love these, these are my favourite corn snacks. I love the small packets, I’ve bought the giant packets in the past and I just eat them too quickly, this way they will hopefully last longer. Only ordered last night they came this morning, I will buy again, I paid £11.70 so good value for money!

I was hoping that they were going to be the same as a favorite of mine from holidays, Twistees, and in may ways they were similar. Unfortunately, maybe I got a bad batch, the taste is oily and not a nice aroma. The cheese helps mask that I suppose. I have a lot of bags to get through and the sell by date suggests 5 per week. Not sure about that.

Yes yes yes! I was kinda worried these would just be some sub-par look-a- like of the American version and not have that great taste.....but they are EXACTLY the same as my favorite U.S holiday treat. what a surprise and what a taste, awesome. Perhaps I shouldn't be so obsessed with how great these are but I am so there it is. Use this information wisely and buy them. 10 on 10 :o)
