Worth it from an Apple user
I switched from an IPhone 16 Pro to this and I am extremely happy with it so far. As a lifelong Apple user I was a bit nervous but after switching over I do not regret it. The customization is top tier, you can have things extremely simple or as crazy as you want it. It moves very fast and the screen is very responsive. You can barely feel the crease in the middle of the screen (though I did get a protection plan from samsung added just in case)I can run quite a few apps at once and it still remains responsive with good battery life.If you are looking to upgrade from an older phone model or jump ship from Apple this is one of the phones I recommend you do it with.

Flipping over the Flip 7
Haven't had a "flip phone" since early 2000s but this phone caught my eye. My husband needed a new phone (he is currently on the note 9) because many apps are no longer supported on his device and it's losing functionality. I had originally eyed the Fold when it first came out but, honestly, I was leery about the whole folding screen feature. How would it hold up and over the years I have seen many used phones for sale with one of the screens non-working. But, we're now several generations into this technology so thought we would try out the version. I chose the flip for my hubby so it would fit better into his pockets. I can't compare this to any of the newer phones since we typically buy used and keep the phones for years. (I just went from an S7 edge to an S 21 ultra myself earlier this year). This Flip was a definite splurge and it looks gorgeous. Apparently, now, Samsung has minimalized the boxing features and no longer supplies the charge blocks or ear buds which I guess is ok. The unboxing was still nice and felt premium. For a $1000+ phone, the experience was on par in my opinion. I love the look and feel of this phone. We've been Samsung users since the S3 (though as I said, we keep them for years so we've just had S7, Note 9 and S21). One thing I have hated about the brand is the drop of the storage card and the Flip 7 is no exception. But, you do get larger internal memory. Personally, I prefer the physical cards and not the cloud or onboard space because I can remove the card and not worry about backups stalling or crashing or losing any of my memories. Plenty of other phones out there though to choose from so it is what it is if you want Samsung. The display is gorgeous and the interface wasn't that much different from the S21.The camera is great and, really, in some ways I like it better than my 21 because it zooms and focuses so much smoother and quicker. I had so many issues with the 21 camera trying to zoom and focus (though successive updates have improved the responsiveness). I did notice such an ease in photo taking with the Flip 7. I mean, zoom in and snap--FAST. The 21 I zoom in, get frustrated, move the camera around, zoom out, zoom in again...it's a pain and I feel like I have to fight with it. This camera is smooth like the Note 9 or S7 we came from. Of course, you don't get the extra zoom power, so that's the trade-off. Now, how does it compare to the S25?? I can't say but if the camera setup if the same with switching between separate lenses, well you might want to consider if you prefer quick shots or close up ranges as to which series might work better for you.One notable difference—it feels like this unit heats up more during charging than my 21.I know they made some outside screen changes compared to the Flip 6, but I can't comment on that being I am not a user of previous Flips. I like the screen and have no issues using it. I do wish, however, you could have more functionality with it without having to open the phone and use the main screen. There are several brands out with cases that include screen protection. I have the spigen thin case and plan to add a glass protector with it.For us, coming from such older phones, this Flip really wowed. It's about the same size as my s21 ultra but it folds to half the size. Also I want to note we received a legit phone. I have received counterfeit items before on Amazon which make me hesitate before large purchases but I can confirm we did get a brand new sealed genuine Samsung.

Z Flip 7 is Good
The Z Flip 7 is a great phone. It comes with 7 years of software updates, has great colors, a 4.1 inch and a 6.9 inch screen, cool gimmick, and a great hinge. The Exynos chip is alright.

The Flip 7 has really impressed me with the screen this year!
I actually work with phones quite a bit and have seen the improvements made with the flip series since the flip 3. My wife had the flip 3 and I had the flip 4 and that alone was a pretty big improvement. This one feels like another big leap in design and function. Immediately my coworkers noticed just how good the screen looked compared to previous models. The middle of the screen looks practically invisible now where the bend is. That is truly impressive. I am currently also using a Motorola razor ultra as a secondary phone and although I like that phone as well, this one just feels premium. It's hard to describe unless you can feel them together, but the hinge mechanism is just super smooth and feels so much better and of course, the screen is incredibly different in comparison as well.In terms of software and performance, this thing is pretty top notch this year. Fast charging helps with battery life which is where this thing has struggled in the past due to smaller battery capacity which definitely helps as well. The front screen is gorgeous and allows for more function than before which is excellent. If you have been debating on a foldable device, I think finally, they've gotten their screens in a fantastic spot and their hinge is perfect. This is the time to jump on them.

Amazing and Innovative!
This is truly a 5 star flagship phone! It is an elegant design, more rugged than I expected. My previous phone was the Galaxy S24+ and before that the S21 Ultra - so I know what a flagship phone looks and feels like. The camera is fast and accurate. The UI is polished and intuitive. I did have one menu where I had to really think to find where the Mobile Hotspot button was. It feels familiar and refined. However, it doesn't seem as bright in the sun as my S24+. A good case makes a big difference - make sure the case fits well. It also seems to really love my fingerprints as decorations. The finger print reader has been moved to the right side which has taken a bit to get used to but it is accurate and easy to use. Where this phone REALLY shines is in the selfies department, having that huge bright screen and the primary camera as your selfie camera is awesome! 50MP selfies - yep it's a thing. Well done Samsung! One last thought, it does feel a little more delicate than my S24, probably because of the case and all the exposed surfaces. But it really should, it's thinner when it's open and it's hinged! Their 7th generation stab at the flip phone is a huge success in my eyes, lots of power in a tiny form factor.
