This does as advertised. Like all home rehab equipment, you get out of it what you put into it. I use this every night before bed and it is helping put range back into my knee. Its better than just using straps with a towel. Its best to use with repetitive pulls to your pressure point, because it doesn't hold your knee flexed unless you're pulling on it. It is very overpriced in my opinion, but it is a quality product that does what its supposed to do.

I ordered this following my knee replacement surgery. This was crucial for me gaining flexibility in my knee. I had a paralyzed quad following my surgery and was unable to effectively drag my heel against the floor. Having this device made it much easier. This would be a must have even for those that don’t encounter complications following surgery.

I can see why people feel this item is a little overpriced, thus 4 stars. However it is a great help for recovering from knee replacement surgery. At the time I bought this I didn’t see anything else this good, and simple to use

When my husband was preparing for knee replacement surgery, I came across the KneeSled and thought it might be helpful during his recovery. We brought it with us to the hospital, just in case. After the surgery, when the physical therapist came in, we asked if it was okay to use the "sled." It wasn’t just okay, she wanted to know where we got it so she could recommend it to her other patients! The next day, a second physical therapist came by, examined it, and asked the same question. My husband began using it in the hospital and continued once he was discharged. A third physical therapist, who came to our home for follow-up care, was also impressed. He had never seen one before, but after checking out its adjustability, he gave it his stamp of approval. Thanks to the KneeSled, my husband regained 90% of his knee’s range of motion in less than a week, two weeks ahead of his doctor’s expectations. For anyone considering this little piece of equipment, we received glowing endorsements from three different physical therapists. It’s easy to adjust, and it gives the user full control over the amount of stretch. My husband feels that pulling the cords with his hands allows for a deeper bend in his knee with less pain than simply sliding his foot on the bed. This gadget may be a bit on the pricey side, but, for us, it’s worth every penny for the role it is playing in my husband’s accelerated recovery. Update: During yesterday's Physical Therapy appointment, my husband's range of motion measured at 100 (that doesn't mean he's finished). Normal range of motion is from 120 to 150 degrees. He is way ahead of schedule. That was at 13 days. At his age, they were not expecting him to be in that range for at long time. Thank you KneeSled!
